THE PROPERTY - CASA VERANO
Luxurious apartment within this idyllic, private development has been designed with total comfort and style in mind. Marble floors, elegant yet comfortable seating and decor, hot/cold air conditioning and radiant underfloor heating for year round temperature control all make for a relaxing and pampered experience. For that real health spa feel, relax in your own inviting private outdoor jacuzzi, surrounded by terracotta tiles and lit by underwater lights. The master bedroom has wall to wall glass doors leading to the terracotta sun terrace and an ensuite bathroom complete with jacuzzi/spa bath. The covered terrace has a sofa, armchair and coffee table relaxation area, wooden steamer chairs to relax and top up your tan and a stylish dining table with 6 chairs. Wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens of Villa Gadea down to the beach and crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea or take a couple of steps down to the pool.

Generous terraces and a private garden with sea views, extend the living area, offering additional space and all-day sun. Overlooking the largest pool of 10 pools within Villa Gadea, the garden is raised above its surroundings providing privacy whilst allowing easy access to the pool and an eye to be kept on the children. When you are tired of simply relaxing in the sun, take a stroll through the verdant, landscaped grounds of sub-tropical palms and hibiscus, through private gates to the secluded La Olla beach with crystal clear water and summer beach bars, or wander down for a drink and entertainment at the 5* Villa Gadea Hotel and watch the sun set over the bay. At Villa Gadea everything for the perfect holiday is within your reach!

LOUNGE, TERRACES & GROUNDS
• The spacious lounge / dining room has a comfortable sofa, a pair of chairs and a dining area seating 6. Full-width double-glazed doors lead from lounge and bedroom onto a broad covered terrace and private garden with mountain & pool views.
• The terrace flows round to a private, open-air Jacuzzi Spa where you can luxuriate with a cool drink at the end of a day in the sun.
• There is easy seating and stylish hardwood steamer chairs to soak up the sun or rest in the shade, an outside dining table for four under a parasol & 4 lightweight sun-loungers for use in the garden or by the pool.
• LCD TV with BBC, ITV, Spanish & many other European channels, plus CD & DVD player
• WiFi available, by arrangement, for a supplement.
• From the the apartment you can walk to the beach along paths (with some steps) that meander through the development or via a quiet private road. The grounds cover a large area and there is direct access from the development,through private gates, onto the secluded La Olla beach. Each building has its own dedicated pool with underwater lighting. There are 2 childrens playgrounds, one behind the beach and one beside the Villa Gadea hotel.

BEDROOMS
• Main bedroom has a luxurious king-size bed, smooth laundered Egyptian cotton sheets, and direct access to the outside Jacuzzi spa, shower and terrace via full-width glass doors. The room has spacious built-in wardrobes, wooden hangers, dressing table, mirror and hairdryer. The en-suite has a Jacuzzi spa bath with power shower. Delicious Molton-Brown toiletries are provided.
• The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes, dressing table and hairdryer. Wide glass doors open onto its own terrace with table and chairs for a quite moment.
• The family bathroom has a power shower a bidet, toilet and basin. Luxury Molton-Brown toiletries are provided.

KITCHEN/UTILITY
A fully-equipped Siematic kitchen with marble worktops, and Siemens appliances. A dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, blender, coffee machine, washing machine etc.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
• The five star Melia Villa Gadea Hotel, next to the development, is open to non-residents. It offers a pampering Thalasso spa with day membership, gym, tennis court, outdoor pools and a Kids Club. The hotel has restaurants, bars, and regular evening entertainment. There are 2 childrens playgrounds beside the development, behind the beach.
• The five star Melia Altea Hills, 2kms away, is open to non-residents. It offers a spa, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, squash and golf.

GAS & SAFETY
The apartment has a mains gas supply so there is no need for you to purchase gas bottles (butanos). There is a gas boiler for hot water and underfloor central heating. This is sited outside of the apartment in an external utility room.
All cooking appliances are electric.

SECURITY
Villa Gadea is a secure resort with entry through manned electronic gates. There is private underground parking accessed by remote control and a lift takes you direct to your door. The development has 24 hour on-site security and CCTV. The building has has high-tec soundproofing. The apartment has video-entry and electronically controlled security shutters.

LOCATION
The cosmopolitan village of Altea is one of the most charming and fascinating on the Costa Blanca. Along the esplanade interesting boutiques and shops jostle with restaurants and bars. In the old quarter, narrow lanes of whitewashed houses and gourmet restaurants wind up the hill to a cobbled square with bustling pavement cafes overlooked by the distinctive blue ceramic domes of the church. In summer the old town is totally pedestrianised and the streets around the church are taken up with arts and crafts stalls where local artists exhibit their work.

ACTIVITIES
As well as the crystal clear sea and blue flag beaches with all the usual watersports, the area has plenty of activities within easy reach to fill a family holiday full of fun and excitement. * Terra Mitica - a magnificent new theme park where ancient civilisations come to life. * Terra Natura - a theme park introducing the nature of different continents. * Aqualandia - a water park with rides and fun for everyone. * Mundomare - a marine park with dolphins. * Fonts de Algar - a natural spring where you can bath in rock pools and climb up waterfalls.

• The apartment has been wonderful. Perfect for the family, the baby enjoyed the stay. Everything has been perfect, we really enjoyed it. Don’t want to go home. We loved our stay and would come back.
It’s like watching ‘cribs’ on MTV being here. I feel famous!

• The Villa Gadea development is immaculately landscaped and maintained. It is particularly well located for immediate access to the AP7 motorway and the N332 coastal road, thus making it handy to visit other parts of the Costa Blanca.
The Altea Olla railway station is about 15 minutes walk from Villa Gadea and affords the opportunity to use the Alicante - Denia light railway to visit neighbouring towns without a car.
The adjacent Hotel Villa Gadea has a spa and gym open to non-residents, and I was able to get a month's membership of the gym for 48 Euro, with a fluffy towel provided on each visit.
This apartment, Casa Verano, is, as described in the website, comfortable and stylish, with high quality furnishings and fittings. It provided us with a very comfortable stay throughout the month.
The local agents, Pam and Sandra, were particularly welcoming and helpful.

• This flat was very confortable and would recommend it if you wish a holiday in a quiet environment. We enjoyed the pool every day and shared it with almost nobody....

Beautifully laid out, nothing was missing.
Very secure for young children, perfect for families.
Also very close to Calpe and Altea centers, but far enough to avoid the noise of the croud....Perfect.

Notes
Deposit of 30% is required on booking. The remaining balance, plus €300 refundable security deposit, is required 8 weeks prior to date of arrival. The security deposit will be returned to you within 10 days of departure, less any deductions for breakages or losses.

We provide: bed linen, towels, tea towels, kitchen towels, pool towels, additional towels for the garden loungers, lightweight loungers for the pool. Weekly linen change. During longer lets, linen & maid service is by arrangement.

So that you can get straight down to enjoying yourselves and to minimise that annoying cost of buying packs of household & grocery items that you might only use a couple of times, we provide: washing up liquid, laundry wash/rinse, dishwasher tablets, bathroom toiletries.
And as well as fresh milk, bread, butter, water, tea, coffee & sugar, the kitchen is stocked with dry goods, flour, rice, pasta, spices etc.

SUPPLEMENTS APPLY: WiFi, cot, baby monitor, high-chair, late arrivals, extra guests. Please ask.

CLEANING: the apartment is professionally cleaned prior to each let. Extra maid service available. The final clean is charged at €75. Additional cleaning may be required following a long let.
