Holiday apartment for rent in Estartit

This is a new, modern apartment complex with a swimming pool and sunbathing area. I have 3 x 2 bedroom apartments, one is on the ground floor, with a private terrace, and direct access to the swimming pool. The other two are both on the third floor (there is a lift). All have washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. The third floor ones have dishwasher, and one has Spanish TV, the other has satellite TV plus (DVD & video) and the ground floor one has satellite TV, DVD and video. The beach is just 75 metres away, and it is situated in the centre of Estartit with private off road parking. The complex has just 16 apartments; which are usually unoccupied except for the month of August!

Estartit is situated on the Northern end of the Costa Brava. Originally a traditional fishing village and with 5 km of sandy beach, it is now a popular holiday resort. The offshore Medes Islands offer the largest concentration of marine life in the Mediterranean and is famed for the clarity of its water. Estartit is the leading diving center on the Costa Brava and excursions are available on the various glass-bottom boats. For the Golfer, 10 championship courses are within easy reach of the resort. Golfing can be booked for you.
There are numerous excursions available including Barcelona; famous for the Ramblas, magic fountains, Olympic village, Sagrada Familla Cathedral and Figueres home of the Dali museum. The Port Aventura theme park can also be visited as a day trip.
Estartit is surrounded by culture and many medieval villages, offering superb typical Spanish cuisine at amazingly low prices. There are also plenty of pretty coves to explore up and down the coast.
Estartit is just 1 hour over the French border and close to 3 International Airports.

If you fancy a cheaper and more adventurous alternative, you could catch the train from Barcelona or Perpignan airports to Estartit. I would be more than happy to work out a journey plan for you, as I have travelled this way myself.

The location is ideal for those of you wishing to drive, England being only 12 hours away, with France, Belgium and Holland even less.
