El Olivo is a beautifully furnished apartment with a new kitchen and huge private garden and is just 400 metres from the long and sandy expanse that is Cap Roig beach. The property is accessed by remote controlled security gate and has private off street parking. The property has three bedrooms in total. A double bedroom, two single beds while the third provides bunk-beds. These bedrooms share a large bathroom with full size bath-tub, very useful after visits to the beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area that leads onto the patio that in turn leads onto the large cultivated garden, perfect for a barbecue in the Mediterranean. The property is air-conditioned and the pool is just ten meters away and is accessed by a gate at the end of the garden. There is also a small playground area. If internet access is a must, you can rent a wi-fi system at a small extra charge. And one important thing to note is, as there are only 10 apartments in the whole complex, it never feels crowed and the pool is never full. Which is nice.

El Olivo is a short distance from Les Oliveres beachside and Spa hotel where you can use such facilities as tennis and paddle ball courts, crazy golf and Spa Treatments. It is also just 3 kilometres to the nearby fishing village of L'Ampolla where there are 4 supermarkets, harbor side cafes, restaurants, marine activities etc. L'Ampolla is famed as a seafood destination through-out Catalunya and is particularly noted for its seafood paella. On the doorstep of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, you can visit the lagoons where flocks of colourful flamingoes wade with white herons, and cranes while golden eagles fly overhead (and make everything wading in the lagoon a little nervous!). For nature lovers and those who like an unspoiled environment, this makes for an ideal family excursion that never ceases to surprise. A car is definitely recommended. And as this is the second largest rice producing area in Spain, it is no surprise L'Ampolla is famous for its 'paella' orand rice dish served in nearly every restaraunt in the village. Catalan Ways Offices are located here in the village of L'Ampolla and we are here to welcome you to Spain, provide you with an information folder on the area, give you a little welcome surprise and arrange any activities that you might be of interest. There is golf, fishing, water-sports, kayaking on the river Ebro, absailing, scenic bicycle routes as well as day trips to the famous Porteaventura Theme Park or Aquapolis Water parks (only 20 minutes by car or train).

All in all, a perfect base for a relaxed, beachside holiday plus great activity options when and if you are in the mod to do something different...

As you can see from the Irish flag on my cheek, I once lived in Ireland but came back to Spain to live because I simply missed the sun in my life. I bought Ol Olivo because of its huge garden which makes it perfect for families or people on holiday with a pet such as a dog. I think holidays are important to get away from the day job and the usual stresses and I am here in L'Ampolla to help you do just that and make sure you have everything you need so you can relax and have a great holiday.
