Casa Bajo is a large original old Spanish Town House that has been updated but in keeping with the traditional feel.

Ground floor - lounge with TV/satellite/DVD also has a bed settee (sleeps up to 3) complete with small kitchen and shower/toilet. First floor - fully equiped kitchen, lounge/dining room with TV/satellite/DVD the house also has internet/wifi, with facility for using Skype. Second floor - shower/toilet. Bedroom 1 - double with wardrobe, Bedroom 2 - twin with wardrobe and Bedroom 3 - single with stowaway bed underneath. Roof Terrace - with shaded area and garden furniture. Terrace has sea and mountain views with magnificent sunsets. House is located in the old town with no hills to climb by the Moorish Castle and the tropical gardens. Only minutes away from beach, local markets, shops, tapas bars and restaurants.
This town house is just minutes walk to San Christobel beach and close to tropical gardens. It is ideally suited to families and the more mature clients as this is at the lower end of the very pretty cobbled streets of Almunecar. It is also close to all the boutique shops, bars, restaurants and night life. There is a local fresh fish, fruit and vegetable market, and a supermarket are all in very short walking distance so there is no reason to hire a car since everything you could possibly need is here on your doorstep. Along the coastline are numerous beaches and sheltered coves. You are just 1½ hour drive to the ski resorts of the Seirra Nevada. Almunecar has a very good bus service going to major cities, Granada, Madrid, Malaga and Sevilla etc. For further information we are also close to the Tourist Information office who are very helpful and can speak several languages.

Should more than 6 people wish to use the house this can be arranged by special request and will incur additional costs of £75 extra per week. Travel cot and Buggy can also be provided FREE.

Return to Almunecar

We discovered Almunecar in the late seventies and spent holidays there every year until 1987. My own parents spent 2 months there every year. We wanted a place that would remind us of the happy times, in the old part of town. This house sounded ideal and certainly lived up to our expectations. Everything we needed was there - a real home from home, and the roof terrace made it! The house was very comfortable, and tastefully furnished, with a very Spanish flavour. Thank you Brenda and Billy for sharing your home in the sun with us.
