Notes
Moraira, between Valencia and Alicante, nestles into the hillside and has wonderful views of the Mediterranean. It is an old fishing village, which has been tastefully expanded over the years and now offers a large variety of bars, restaurants, shops, a marina with rows of luxury yachts mixing with traditional fishing crafts and two excellent sandy beaches with a life guard, pedalo boats, sun beds and beach cafes. The shallow water is providing safe swimming for all ages. The market on a Friday is great fun and not be missed. In addition there is a small fairground for the children and there are many places of interest to visit including the mountains of the interior.
