This is our own recently renovated HOME with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and new fully equipped, fitted kitchen with dishwasher.Ideally situated, bordering on the uniquely Spanish towns of Salobrena (to the east) and Almunecar (to the west). Situated 5 minutes off the A7 Malaga-Motril Motorway, Alfamar is a small well kept Urbanization of approx 100 homes, owned by many nationalities including Spanish, English, French, Belgian, German and Scandinavian.

El Limonero is our own home for part of the year in Spain and so is very comfortably furnished, compared to many rental properties you may come across. You will have CD´s, English DVD´s,TV (with many channels), and books inc guide books. If you are a keen cook, you will find the kitchen really well equipped too. We have local caretakers who will hand over the villa keys and see that you are properly settled in. They are a delightful couple who live only 2 doors away and speak 5 languages! A Welcome Basket will start your holiday off with some basics and some wine!

The urbanization has its own lovely community swimming pool (open July and August) and a tennis court. Both can be seen from our villa and are just a 2 minute walk away. Our nearest beach, directly opposite the urbanization, is a 2 minute drive away ( or a 15 min walk downhill) and boasts a small, reasonably priced restaurant and bar during the summer period. Salobrena and Almunecar´s main beaches are also only a 5 minute drive away. There are many other attractions near, such as castles, golf courses,water park, aquarium and many good restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. A car is essential.
Convenient for Malaga and Granada Airports ( both 45 minutes away via motorway). You can easily visit the historic town of Granada (and the World Heritage Alhambra Palace) or the famour Sierra Nevada and Alpùjarra mountains. Whilst Salobrena is an unspoiled quiet Spanish seaside town, the larger resorts of Nerja and
Malaga are within easy reach also. The choice is yours whether you want to enjoy nearby beaches or walking in the countryside at whatever level suits you.

*Lovely dining room, off the living room, with panoramic windows overlooking the Mediterranean (180º vista). You can someimes see dolphins too.
*A parking space is available opposite the house.
*Access to the villa is via 25 steps. It is this height that gives you the glorious views!
Whilst the villa does not have its own pool, the urbanization´s lovely pool is just opposite and is open from 9a.m.-9p.m. (July and August).
*TV with BBC1,2,3,4 ITV 1,2,3,4 and lots more. DVD and CD player.
