Canaletas is a spacious 110 m2 apartment in a 19th century building situated in an ideal location, a residential and pedestrian area just off the Ramblas near Plaça Catalunya. A recent renovation has preserved attractive original features, including wooden ceiling beams, decorative tiled floors and crafted carpentry. Tall french windows open out onto two balconies overlooking the narrow pedestrian street, while others face the interior court. The apartment and the neighbourhood reflect one of Barcelona’s most stylish and emblematic periods.

Canaletas offers convenience, style and comfort rather than just a place to sleep. With two bedrooms sharing a walk-in closet (1 double and 1 twin), the apartment accommodates 4 guests in great comfort. The living space features a sitting room, a spacious dining room and an ample, well equipped kitchen with breakfast nook.

The apartment is only minutes from Barcelona’s most popular shopping areas (Porta de Angel, Paseo de Gracia, El Corte Inglés), the Boquería Market, the MACBA Museum with its constellation of nearby galleries, and the many attractions of the Gothic Quarter.
At your doorstep, you will find cafes, restaurants, bars with tapas, bookshops, and small specialty shops selling fresh pasta, roasted coffee, cheeses, artisan bakery goods and many unique discoveries. The Mar Bella and Barceloneta beaches are only 10 mins away by public transport or taxi. Or you can stroll down the Ramblas to the Port and explore the ancient Born area or the fish restaurants of the Barceloneta. Sit back and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in any one of the many squares and terraces of the Casc Antic. Take in a concert at the beautiful Palau de la Musica or an opera at the world renown Liceu opera house.
And before you leave, remember to visit the nearby Canaletas drinking fountain on the Rambla. Legend has it that visitors who drink from this fountain are bound to return to the city.

Notes
Price quoted is for 3 persons. Additional charge per person per day is €10. The apartment must be left tidy, dishes washed or stacked in the dishwasher and all recycle and garbage must be removed. During the high season (July and August) we aim to accept only minimum 1-week booking from Sat to Sat (sometimes Sunday to Sunday). In any case, please ask.

Grate apartment and super holidays!

I want to say thank you. We have very beautiful holidays, apartment is grate, well equipped, it is big, we are living in grate comfort like locals from 19th centure))). It is quietlyI don't heard neighbors Location fantastic, in the heart of old city, in the hart of culture, all that we need was around us. All your recommendations concerning restrains we checked)) was good, we visit all this place. It was very easy and comfortable to have contact with you. If, I comeback to Barcelona I wii take this apartment again. Thank you Dick and Ann.
