With relaxing views of the Marina, sit passing the time away watching all the Boating activity from the upper Terrace, or walk down to the Beach which is only 3 minutes away, where it boast a Restaurant Beach-Bar With free Wi-Fi and internet access,Ice-Cream/Sweet shop. Sunbeds Parasols and Pedaloes are all available for hire. Carry on for a further 2 minutes and you reach the Marina which is surrounded by 5 Restaurants, Art galleries and shops which also includes a Mini-Market and Cash Machine.
A PADI Scuba Diving School is situated on the Marina should you be a novice or experienced all are welcome with lessons and equipment for hire.
The coastline around the area is renowned for its dive sites and the abundance of its protected coral and rock formations which is looked after by Granada University.
With a excellent choice of cuisine you have the choice of some mouth watering Fish and Meat dishes or just a simple Pizza. The host greet you a warm Spanish welcome be it just a drink and some Tapas, Lunch or Dinner, all occasions are well catered for as you dine al-fresco watching the slow pace of Mediterranean life go by.
Just 3 Km to the West is the Town of La Herradura (Horse Shoe Bay) where there is a 5 Km Beach which is over-looked by an abundance of Restaurants, cafes and Shops and plenty of activity Day & Night for all ages.
To the East is the historic Town of Almunecar(which is nicknamed, Sexi by the locals)
Steeped in history it still retains its Spanish identity. It provides a vibrant Shopping area in its old shaded back Streets and a daily Fish Market. The giant weekly market is a must see in its abundance of colour and culture and sells many local unique home-made crafts of Lace, Pottery, Jewellery and Leather to mention just a few.
On the Beach front at Almunecar theres a great Water Park With Slides and Swimming Pool.
Just a 1 Hour drive and you reach the magnificent city of Granada which is set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Spain's highest Mountain, where the Ski-ing season goes on into May, yet just a few miles down the Mountain and your basking in 30 Degrees of Sunshine One place not to miss is the illustrious Alhambra Palace dating back to the times when the Moors ruled Spain.
