In the ultimate central location adjacent to the town church and overlooking a small Plaza, this traditional house is has been thoroughly and tastefully modernised. It is arranged around a glazed central atrium, as well as having walk-through external windows with tiny balconies, and it feels light, spacious and airy. A special and unusual property.
Unusually for a rental property in Vejer, this is located inside the castellated town wall which encloses the very oldest and most characterful area of Vejer. Adjacent to the spectacular town church, the house (once a convent) is at the very summit of the hill on which the old town is perched. Walk down the winding and incredibly narrow and picturesque streets in the easterly direction, and in 2 minutes you arrive at Plaza d’ España, with some of the best bars and restaurants in town. Walk two minutes in the westerly direction, and you are in Plazuela with the Convent bar and restaurant, plus a selection of local tapas bars and the delightful Corredera promenade. If location is important, this is the place to be.
Car access within the old walled town, with its narrow, winding, cobbled streets is difficult, but possible, for dropoff & collection of luggage etc. Parking is available 5-10 mins walk away on the Avenida de los Remedios.
The beaches are about 12 minutes drive away. Golf and horseriding are also available nearby.
Changeover day is Saturday, arrive 16:00 to 18:00 if possible, later by arrangement. Please do not get the Ryanair flight that arrives in Jerez 20:30, and expect to collect the keys that night!
On departure, return keys by 10:00 to the helpful & experienced local agent. I will send full details on receipt of your booking.
