The Mill is a tastefully renovated olive mill set next to the winding Rio Vilano in a protected nature area close to the historic town of Montefrio.
The Mill has been restored in a rustic/modern style. From the main entrance inside a gated courtyard, a large hallway leads to the main lounge, dining room, bathroom and full kitchen with American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and separate centre island with preparation sink and granite worktops. This leads to an elevated breakfast terrace. Also off the hallway is a twin bedroom, double bedroom and upstairs to a 3rd double bedroom with ensuite.
Within the grounds is a pool (6x5m) and paddling pool, set in a 100m2 terrace with covered dining table and views of the surrounding countryside and river. Around the Mill are other terraces including a converted open-plan barn featuring a bbq area, dining table and sofas for the perfect party or chill out session next to the river.
The local town of Montefrio is 5 mins drive and holds many shops, bars, banks etc.
The Mill is a large, secluded and private property with beautiful views and walks through this real part of Andalucia.
The local area is well known for cycling, horse riding, bird watchin. The are many important monuments and castles close by including the exciting city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Also within a short drive are the cities of Cordoba and Seville. The Mill enjoys good all year round access with a standard hire car.
