Mountains form the backdrop to Miami Playa, a seaside town with many bars, supermarkets, shops and restaurants offering international cuisine and take-away food to suit all budgets and tastes. The beaches in this region of Spain are not crowded, even in the peak of the holiday season.
From the villa a 3 minute car ride will bring you to the centre of Miami Playa. In less than 5 minutes you can be on the European Blue flag beach Playa Cristal. In the evening, the villa is just a 10 minute stroll away from the nearest restaurants so there is no problem with walking out in the evening to have a meal and a few drinks.
Golfers have only a 15 minute drive to the fabulous Bonmont Golf Course that has twice hosted the PGA Catalan Golf Championships. Bonmont is just one of a number of golf courses within easy reach of the villa.
The very popular Universal Studios Port Aventura theme parks are just 30 minutes away by car or train.
For the culturally minded, Tarragona offers fine roman remains and Barcelona can be reached in 1.5 hours by train from the nearby station at L'Hospitalet del Infant.
Engish guided cat and carp fishing can be arranged on the river Ebro if required. Please ask for details.
Accommodation:
Master Bedroom - double bed (UK size), 2 bedside cabinets with lamps, built in wardrobes with cupboards above. A floor standing room fan is provided in summer.
Twin Bedroom – twin beds (UK size), 2 bedside cabinets with lamp and built in wardrobes with cupboards above. A floor standing room fan is provided in summer.
Two folding guest beds are available for use in the living/dining room so that 6 may sleep at the villa.
Living / Dining Room – Wide screen satellite TV. Good selection of DVDs, CDs and books. Dining table and chairs. Settee and easy chair. An information pack and leaflets showing things to do and see is also provided. A floor standing room fan is provided in summer.
Kitchen – Well equipped with a gas/electric hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, electric hand blender, saucepans, frying pan, baking trays, oven proof dishes, mixing bowls and kitchen utensils, together with the usual cutlery, crockery, drinking glasses etc. Barbecue tools and a grill are also available.
Family Bathroom – Bath with shower above and shower curtain, toilet, wash hand basin with cupboard beneath, hair dryer and washing machine. (An airer, pegs, iron and ironing board are also provided.)
Cloakroom – Toilet and wash hand basin.
Terrace – Round, glass-topped table, with 4 chairs. A plastic patio table, chairs and sun umbrella are provided together with 4 top quality sun loungers for use by the pool. There is a good selection of children’s beach toys.
Towels and Bed Linen – Towels, bed linen, table cloths and tea towels are provided free of charge. Beds will be made up ready for your arrival and will be changed weekly.
