The Property
Villa Verde is a detached 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa set within a walled garden with both private and on-road parking.
It has an open plan ground floor consisting of a lounge area a dining area a well equiped kitchen and a bathroom fitted with toilet, sink and shower and large mirror.2 ceiling fans and an A/C unit are fitted in the lounge/dining area. There are 2 sets of patio doors leading onto a large terrace which has table and chairs and a gas BBQ so is an ideal place to eat and relax.
The 1st floor is reached up a marble spiral staircase,on this floor are the 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The 1st bedroom has a double bed,large built in wardrobe,2 bedside cabinets,a full length mirror a ceiling fan and an A/C unit.A patio door opens onto the balcony.
The 2nd bedroom has twin single beds, a bedside cabinet,a large built in wardrobe a TV,DVD and games console, a full length mirror, a ceiling fan and an A/C unit.A patio door leads onto the balcony.
The 3rd bedroom has twin single beds a bedside cabinet,a built in wardrobe and a ceiling fan.
The bathroom has a bath and shower,a toilet,a sink,a bidet and a large mirror.
The spiral staircase then leads to the sun roof which has views of the Meditteranian sea, the Mar Menor and La Manga. A tower provides shade and there are a table and chairs,2 sunbeds, a chimney style BBQ,a fridge, a sink and plates, glasses and cutlery so you can sunbathe in private with cold drinks and food at hand.
The Villa has been furnished for our own use so has good quality furniture and mattresses not the packaged furniture in some hire properties. All windows and doors have Fly/Mosquito screens fitted and the downstairs windows and doors have security bars and gates so they can be left open making the villa much more comfortable.
As a guest of the villa you have the use of the large communal pool and area.
Location.
Villa Verde is situated in Pinar de Campoverde a peaceful residential area with a nice mix of permanent residents and holiday homes. It is a 20 minute drive from Murcia (MJV) airport and 45 minute drive from Alicante.There are bars within a 5 minute walk and the original village with bars,restaurants, shops and supermarkets is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. The major holiday resorts of La Manga and Torrevieja are a 30 minute drive away. The town of Pilar de la Horadada is a 10 minute drive away.
Activities.
In Campoverde is the famous natural area of "Rio Seco" where you can usually walk along the dry river in this area is a sports area with tennis courts,basketball and 5 a side football pitches.There is also a public outdoor swimming Pilar de la Horadada is a very large sports centre with indoor swimming pool.
The local beaches and the Mar Menor are a 15 minute drive away.
Lo Romero golf course is a 5 minute drive away and there are many excellent courses within a 45 minute drive.
There is a small local market in the village on Sunday morning but much larger markets are held in local towns most days of the week.
