The house is situated within the 'Puig Campana' protected area and surrounding mountain range. It is only three klms from the old village of Finestrat and nine klms from Cala Finestrat beach. It is ideal for people who want peace and tranquility yet has easy access to towns such as Benidorm and Villajoyosa and cities such as Alicante and Valencia. There are also three blue flag awarded beaches nearby at Villajoyosa and in Benidorm the Levante and Poniente beaches with large pedestrian walkways.

AMENITIES
This holiday rental house has two fully furnished bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin, (there is also another single bed/cot available shared with the double bedroom) two bathrooms with walk-in showers, a spacious 'L'shaped lounge with dining area and a very efficient wood burning stove. There is a cosy reading corner with a library and a mobile gas heater for chilly weather. There is a TV, DVD player and cd/radio. The fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, washing machine, hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board.

The house is situated in the grounds of a large country house but with completely separate access and garden areas. Clients have shared use the owners solar heated swimming pool next door, between 9.00am and 6.00pm with a designated sunbathing terrace of 25mtrs . complete with sun loungers, a table and chairs.

It has private parking for two cars, is surrounded by a terrace with two paved patio areas, complete with a table and four chairs for outside dining and a BBQ area and also has a small garden area.

ATTRACTIONS
Within five to twenty minutes travel there are several local Theme Parks which include: Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar.There is folder provided in the house with maps and information about the area and leaflets on all local attractions.

For those people wanting something more energetic there are two golf courses, a nine hole 'pitch & putt'course and a large karting track within ten minutes travel. The Puig Campana legendary mountain with it's 1410 meters in height, is only a short distance away, ideal for walkers and climbers. The quiet roads around Finestrat and local villages are perfect for cyclists.

FINESTRAT
Finestrat is an ancient mountain village which dates back to 1280. It is on a raised hillside characterised with it's colourful 'hanging' cliff edge homes and the narrow streets of moorish origin. The village has numerous bars and restauants, a doctor's surgery, a chemist, two banks, a post office, local supermarket, a fish shop, butchers shop,and several bread shops.

At La Cala de Finestrat you will find a beach with lifeguards, bars, cafes, restaurants and local shops. There is a market three times a week - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. There is La Marina Shopping Centre and six supermarkets as well as a MacDonalds.

This is the first time we have booked a holiday that is not a package holiday and i was slighty nervous. But the villa was superb, everything we could have wished for and more. It was extremely clean and tidy. The villa was ideally located for our needs. The directions that the owners gave us were very useful. The owners were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Always on hand if we needed anything. We will definately go back in 2012.

Absolutely fantastic holiday - Many thanks guys!!!!

What a wonderful place. We even saw 2 golden eagles above our villa. Everything was within a short drive from our villa. In fact we left the airport with a full tank and handed it back with a third left without filling up once. Nearby was a lovely beach, an amazing water park for all ages (my son is 3), a theme park, a karting track, a chocolate factory tour! + and many others. The villa itself was the nicest we have ever stayed in - in fact if you are reading this just book it you will not be disappointed!
