2-room house 60 m2 on 2 levels, comfortable, rustic, tasteful and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofa bed (135 cm, length 190 cm), cable-TV. Exit to the garden with porche. Kitchen (2 hotplates, dishwasher, micro wave, freezer). Shower/bidet/WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 2 beds and folding bed for children less than 12 years old. Exit to the terrace. Oil heating, air-conditioning. Terrace furniture. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (ADSL). Views of the Alhambra and Generalife. 80 litre boiler. TV channels: Spanish, France, English, German and Italian.

The house is situated in the old part of Granada, Albayzin, which was basically founded in the century by the arabs. Streets are very steep and narrow, and in most of them no cars or bikes can come. The very large castle, The Alhambra, is litterally outside of your window! If you want visit the surroundings of Granada you have at your disposal a magnificent car Volvo S40 for the economic price of 40 euros each day.

A Gem in Granada

What an unexpected surprise when we arrived to find cold beers, fruit and snacks! This gorgeous house had all the things necessary to begin our visit in this beautiful city. It is wonderfully decorated, spotlessly clean and because of all the extras we found in the kitchen we did not have to immediately run to a store for provisions. We spent mornings sitting in the courtyard and evenings on the upstairs terrace looking at the beautifully lit Alhambra. Ignacio gave us an extremely helpful map and marked all the places we needed such as ATM, stores, and his favorite restaurants. It was an easy walk to Plaza Nueva and although we were a bit concerned about the walk back up, it was very easy and good exercise after a delicious meal. The star of Granada was the Alhambra and it did not disappoint. We all agree that we would highly recommend this home and it's very thoughtful owner to anyone we knew planning a trip to Granada.

ONLY ONE DRAWBACK

DO NOT GO WITH YOUR CAR! tho' the owner was very accommodating and allowed me to park in his garage (e:10 per day) driving thru those incredibly narrow ancient streets is a car insurer's nightmare!

Great place to stay

This apartment is even better than the photos show, with lovely terraces and views, a warm and comfortable interior, great privacy, and very welcoming and helpful hosts. There was lovely food and drink provided in the apartment, so that we had some provisions without having to shop immediately. Our hosts provided a most helpful map showing the locations of shops, restaurants and attractions. The location was quite convenient to the central area of the city and to the Alhambra. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Granada.

This is a great place to stay!

When I saw the pictures and video of this apartment on the internet, I knew that I wanted to rent it. All of the arrangements were easily made in English. After my arrival, I quickly discovered that the apartment was even better. The terrace is large and has a magnificent view of the Alhambra and more. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It had everything I wanted. For example, I prepared many meals in the kitchen. The WIFI worked very well for internet and skype. I was given access to a really nice pool. The grounds are safe, secure and very attractive. The owner is a pleasure to meet and interact with; he went out of his way to make my stay a good one. Places in the Albaicin, Cathedral area, and Sacromonte, are all within a short walk and cabs are in the Plaza Nueva, a 5 min. walk. Did I mention how well the air conditioning worked throughout the apartment? Very nice after a day of walking around in the summer heat. The price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend staying here.
