Holiday villa for rent in Montroy

We are situated 40 minutes from the city of Valencia, in a very quiet rural area nestling in the middle of orange groves, with spectacular views of the mountains. The local villages of Montroy and Monserrat are 7 kilometers away,both are traditional Spanish villages where you can sample the local way of life, traditional Spanish dishes, local wine and take part in the many fiestas and festivals, this is ideal for that peaceful 'get away from it all' break, and yet is only 40 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Valencia renown for it's history and bustling nightlife.

The accommodation consists of a large 4 bedroom detached villa and a one bedroom guest villa in the garden, ideal for the large family holidays but allowing that little bit of private time also. Both villas are set in their own gardens and have private terraces with tables and chairs, both with gated access to the large private pool with patio furniture and sun beds on the tiled pool surround area. There is a covered sun terrace at the rear of the large villa with tables and chairs, and a large gas barbecue for Al fresco dining, plus a small outside shower room. Overlooking the pool is another covered terrace with tables, chairs and a fridge and freezer for oudoor eating and chilled drinks. The swimming pool and terraces are illuminated at night for that moonlight dip.

The large villa has four bedrooms, one double and three twin, large living room with a log burning fire, dining area with dining table and chairs, two bathrooms one with shower and tub and a smaller bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the electrical appliances. The smaller villa has 1 large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, an open plan lounge diner area with two settees, one of which is a double sofa bed, the dining area has a dining table and chairs seating 4 people. The American style kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, hob, washing machine and large bathroom has a walk in shower. All living rooms and bedrooms in both properties have ceiling fans.

The larger towns of Torrent and Picassent are both within a 20 minute drive, and both offer the metro connection to Valencia, the city of culture,where there is something for everyone, shopping, exploring the fascinating old town, visiting the many historic architectural buildings and the impressive futuristic architecture of the City of Arts and Science where you can visit the science museum, planetarium and not forgetting L'oceangrafic, Europe's largest aquarium, or have a day relaxing on the beautiful golden sandy beach at la Malverossa, a few minutes from the city, where you can stroll along the promenade and dine at one of the many restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean.

Further to the north of Valencia is Playa del Alboraya, which is famous for the horchata drink which is made from chuffas (tiger nuts) and ice cold milk. To the south of Valencia there are the many blue flag beaches including El Saler, and the national park of Albufera, a fresh water lagoon, connected to the sea. Further along the coast is the beautiful golden sands of Cullera, and then on to the coastal towns of Gandia and Denia, and not forgetting the lively resort of Benidorm, 90 minutes away.


We are also ideally situated for the Ricardo Tormo Circuit which is 10 kilometers from us, the Formula 1 European Grand Prix held in the city streets in Valencia, La Tomatina,the tomato throwing festival at Bunol and several famous golf courses including El Saler and El Bosque.
