This spacious first floor apartment sleeps 4 in 2 twin bedded rooms with en-suite bathroom & separate shower room. An extra bed and cot area available if required. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge/dining room leading to a furnished sunny terrace overlooking the course and one of the two swimming pools. Offering both holiday makers & golfers alike a superb base for their break in the sounny south of Spain, Alhauirn Golf complex is situated in the hills of the Mijas mountains and surrounded by pine forests and will satisfy all abilities from beginners to professionals. The attractive main course of 18 holes par 72 was designed by Seve Ballesteros to offer the enjoyment of a spectacular and natural track. There is a further 9 hole par 3 course and a 18 hole junior course par 3, also a golf school providing the utmost in practice facilites to improve your swing, an intensive driving range plus putting & chipping greens. The club house offers all day dining and a comfortable lounge & bar. Within a short walk of the apartment is th excellently appointed Alhaurin Golf Hotel with cafe bar and gastronomic restaurant, swimming pools, saunas, tennis and horse riding. There are several good restaurants & ventas in the immediate vicinity and the town of Alhaurin el Grande offers many more, plus shops, bars & discos. Alhaurin Golf complex is 10 minutes from the picturesque white village of MIjas, overlooking the costa del Sol where you will find all the delights of Marbella, Puerta Banus & Fuengirola which is a mere 20 mins drive away. 15 mons to the beach resort of La Cala, and 10 mins to Santana and La Cala Golf. Car hire is recommended to explore the many delights of the area, and can be arranged locally or from the airport, but taxis are available and a regular bus service runs from Alhaurin Golf to Mijas & Fuengirola and inland to Alhaurin & Coin. There is so much to do, many places to visit nearby and for a full day trip it is possible to visit Nerja, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, Gibralta, or even Tangiers. Go Horse racing at Mijas Hipodrome, viisit the Picasso Museum in Malaga, try your luck at the casino in Benalmadena, watch polo at the Santa Polo Club in Sotogrande, join a jeep safari, lunch at the Marbella Gun Club, play tennis, go hiking, mountain biking, fishing....or, of course....play GOLF.
