Description: |
El Balcon . This apartment is brand new, beautifully finished, spacious and airy. It is comfortably furnished with 2 bedrooms (one twin and one double). Sleeps 4. The double has views of the sea . The lounge/diner has French doors leading on to a large terrace overlooking the sea, mountains and surrounding area. The apartment is centrally heated with radiators in all rooms including the 2 bathrooms. The kitchen which has views of the sea is fully equipped with washing machine, microwave, expelair cooker hood, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric oven and gas hob etc. There are 2 bathrooms - one with a walk-in shower and the other en-suite with a shower in the bath plus a basin and bidet. The apartment is wheelchair friendly There is a lift from the garage and there is a cummunal pool and a short tennis court.
The position of the apartment is on the edge of the old town with its beautiful blue-domed church and cobbled streets seen from the balcony with a lovely square full of bars and restaurants 5 min. away and also a large new concert hall which gives wonderful performances of ballet, opera, concerts and theatre.All year round there are the most wonderful fiestas and firework displays . The area is surrounded by mountains and quaint villages and many activities in Benidorm, only 10 minutes away, including beautiful sandy beaches, water and animal parks The promenade in Altea is full of reasonably priced restaurants and shops and a lovely area to walk in the warm evenings. There is also a lively port and yacht club.This is only 5 mins. from the apartment. It is 40 mins. from Alicante airport and 1 l/2 hours from Valencia airport.
