Situated on the Southern Costa Blanca, 40 minutes south of the cosmopolitan coastal resort of Alicante and 30 minutes from the beautiful historic city of Murcia, Las Ramblas golf complex is located 5 minutes from the beach near La Zenia, Orihuela Costa.
Las Ramblas
Las Ramblas is an attractive, peaceful, secure gated community boasting spectucular views across the 18 hole golf course to the sea beyond. Immediately next to Las Ramblas are two further 18 hole golf course: Real Campoamor and Villamartin.
Local Area
The area is reputed for its many leisure facilities (sailing, swimming, cycling, climbing, bird watching, canoeing, go-karting, aqua park, sea fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, walking, windsurfing, horse riding and tennis) and its numerous blue flag beaches, all within easy reach of the apartment. Beaches range from smaller local bays, to the wide beaches bordering the still waters of the Mar Menor (the inland saltwater lagoon behind the La Manga strip) and the long, unspoiled beaches of Guardamar and La Marina.
The Villa
Casa Kirshel is a modern, three bedroom detached villa, completely surrounded by its own gardens. There is a large private pool, with sunbathing area and a number of outside terraces, including a large roof top solarium with splendid views across the golf course and surrounding rugged countryside to the sea beyond. There is also a purpose built outside dining area with seating for six people, a large stone barbecue and a fridge - perfect for "al fresco" dining!
You dont have to enjoy golf to have a great time on Las Ramblas. Although, if you do, in addition to being situated on one of the most challenging courses in the area, there are two further 18 hole courses immediately next door....Villamartin and Real Campoamor.
It is a beautiful, peaceful location, but not at all remote. It is well positioned for easy access to the numerous blue flag beaches in the area (five minutes by car to the closest!), fabulous restaurants to suit every taste and budget, the Mar Menor and for visiting the fascinating towns of Alicante, Cartagena and Murcia.
Great for children...
Safe and quiet, suitable for young children, the vila has a large, secure garden and the pool has a shallow end. A childrens play area is located a couple of minutes walk away and the area has a number of water parks and safari parks. The spectacular Terra Mitica theme park (the size of Euro Disney - but better!) is no more than one hours drive away!

The villa is fully air conditioned and has central heating thoughout.
Casa Kirshel sleeps 6 in comfort, but an extra bed can be arranged if required. There are 3 double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities. There is one room with king size bed, one room with double bed and one room with twin beds.
There is an American style kitchen fitted in granite and marble. This is equipped with just about everything you would find in your kitchen at home! There is an electric hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen leads to a Utility Area with washing machine, tumble drier, steam iron and ironing board.
The sitting room is comfortably furnished and has two large sofas, a glass dining table and a large tv (including SKY) and audio equipment. Leading off this room is a large, sunny terrace with a table, large umbrella and seating for six people.
A flight of marble stairs leads down from the entrance hall to the bedrooms (so you can relax in peace and quiet in your bedroom if you wish!) and up to the roof top solarium.
There is a further, more shady, terrace with a table and seating for two people, off the master bedroom - overlooking the pool.
Not only is the villa only minutes away from the beaches and sandy coves of the Mediterranean, it is also only some 15 minutes drive from the beaches surrounding the still waters of the Mar Menor (Little Sea - the inland saltwater lagoon created by the La Manga peninsula). Here the shallow water is even warmer than the Med and there are never any waves - great for the kids!
Nearest airports are Alicante (40 mins) and Murcia (15 mins)
Evening Entertainment
Las Ramblas is very peaceful - - and that is one of its main attractions! You can BBQ in the garden and often not hear or see a soul! However, within minutes you can be in any number of excellent restaurants - ranging from very simple to those offering a true gastronic experience. The closest (apart from the Las Ramblas clubhouse and La Fuente Commercial Centre) is no more than 3 minutes drive away! And if you prefer, taxis are cheap and reliable... La Fuente is a newly opened Commercial Centre offering a number of bars and restaurants with outside terraces. It is situated just outside the main gates of Las Ramblas and can be walked to in about 20 mins.
Alternatively, within an easy 15 minute drive, you can stroll along the sea-front paseo in Torrevieja and take a drink or have a meal at one of the numerous bars or restaurants.
15 minutes drive in the other direction will take you to the late night Spanish town of San Pedro or to the sea-front bars of Lo Pagan, which are bustling with local people until the early hours of the morning - epecially at weekends!
