THE LOCATION
Our ground floor apartment is situated in real Villamartin on a quiet cul-de-sac and only a 1 minute stroll from the renowned Villamartin Plaza, and a 3 minute stroll to the famous Villamartin Golf Club. It has recently been made a gated, secure community, with only residents or guests allowed entry. There is a large communal pool, with a shallow, child safe pool adjoining. The apartment overlooks the pool, so easy to keep an eye on the "little ones" from the shady patio with it´s wooden furniture. The Plaza is an area set within a palm filled courtyard with parrots flying around freely. It is home to many bars and restaurants with its diversity including Spanish, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, German, English and Italian cuisine. Also within a 10 minute walk are the bars and restaurants of Los Dolses, where you will find many other places to eat and drink. If you fancy venturing out a little further, only a short drive away are La Zenia and Cabo Roig where the bars and restaurants are plentiful and a great night out can be had. Taxis are readily available from the Villamartin Plaza area.
The apartment is just a 10 minute drive from the safe and sandy blue flag beaches of La Zenia, Campoamor and Cabo Roig.
The cosmopolitan resort town of Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive North. The town boasts historic and modern attractions and a recently built top of the range shopping centre can be found near the centre.
The property is situated approximately 40 minutes from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia airport.
GOLF
For avid golfers the renowned Villamartin golf course is a 5 minute stroll away and there are 3 further golf courses a short drive away (Las Ramblas - 5 mins, Campoamor - 5 mins and La Finca - 20 mins). La Marquesa and La Manga golf courses are also easily accessible for those wishing to explore that little bit further.
THE ACCOMODATION
The main living area of the apartment is fully air conditioned and comprises of a spacious and modern open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
It is tastefully furnished and comprises a 3 seater double sofa bed and a 2 seater matching settee, coffee table and a storage/display unit. For your entertainment, UK TV is installed with a wide range of channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV, Channel 4 and 5, Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3 and 4 movie channels.
The dining area comprises pine dining table and comfortable seating.
The kitchen area is fully fitted in a contemporary design and comprises full oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, washing machine and all necessary crockery and utensils. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are also included for your comfort.
The Master Bedroom is spacious and comprises twin beds, bedside table and lamp and fitted robes. It benefits from a large en-suite bathroom comprising vanity basin, wc, bidet and walk in shower.
The twin bedroom is furnished with twin beds, bedside table, lamp and fitted robes.
For your comfort, overhead ceiling fans are fitted in the bedrooms and heaters are available.
The family bathroom comprises full bath with over-bath shower, wc, bidet and vanity basin.
The property is marble tiled throughout.
The enclosed garden of the apartment benefits from a shady furnished patio allowing guests to relax in comfortable surroundings during the day and take in the serenity and calmness of the pool by night.
The community pool area is well kept and regularly maintained with lawns for sunbathing. There is a large communal pool, with a child pool attached. The apartment and it´s garden overlooks the pool and lawned area. The community has recently been transformed into a gated community, preventing anoyone except those with authority to be in the grounds. Secure parking is offered within the secure area, please discuss the deposit for electronic fob if you require a secure parking area.
For your security the property benefits from security grills and a burglar alarm.
The owners are local residents and will meet you at the property to allow you a stress free arrival. They will be on hand if required throughout your stay to help with any problems or queries.
CLEANING CHARGE INFORMATION
There are no cleaning charges in addition to the prices shown. 1 bath towel (not for use on the beach), hand towels and bed linen are also provided at no extra cost.
WELCOME PACK A complementary welcome pack consisting of 1 bottle of red wine, 1 bottle of white wine, 2 beers, coffee, tea, suger, milk and water is included. A more comprehensive welcome pack can be provided upon request. Please ask for further details.
