THE APARTMENT - is light and spacious with the main large all-day-sun terrace overlooking the pool and offering spectacular open sea views across the Med and the surrounding mountains.
The spacious and elegantly furnished lounge and dining room are comfortable and inviting. From there the two large double patio doors, one from the dining room and other from the master bedroom, lead the way out to the front terrace and onto the patio where a set of comfortable table and chairs offer a perfect setting for a romantic alfresco dining.
The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom is decorated in a modern rustic chic style. A superb top range queen size bed will guarantee the most comfortable and relaxing night after that active day by the sea. The second bedroom has two single beds and a separate shower room. A patio door will lead you out to the rear terrace facing the hillside and tropical gardens. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes as standard. The kitchen is modern with marble work-tops and fully equipped with a complete range of top appliances. In the utility room you will find washing machine, ironing board and iron as well all other necessary home appliances and essentials.
SECURITY & PARKING - For complete peace of mind, Altea Dorada development is fully fenced and the access is controlled by electronic gates. The apartment has a speaker phone entry system for easy voice identification of your visitors. All double glazed windows and doors are fully sound proof and have electronic metal shutters. There is a secure underground parking space for a medium size family car that can be accessed through by the lifts located just outside of the apartment.
THE LOCATION - Altea town, often called the Pearl of the Mediterranean, is known as an unspoiled idyllic location in the protected natural setting of Altea Bay and offers a splendid variety of quiet and beautiful sandy and shingle beaches. Altea old town itself has long been recognized as the Bohemian centre for musicians, artists and writers from all over Europe. The greatest attraction of the town is at the hill top where you will find the Costa Blancas most distinctive landmark - the Church of Altea with its magnificent dome of blue and white glazed ceramic tiles. The walk up to the church plaza through narrow cobbled lanes of the old quarter along the array of local craft shops and galleries should be on everybody to-do list. The plaza offers the most spectacular views of the mountains and Bay of Altea. There are also top class restaurants where you can enjoy both traditional Spanish and a variety of excellent Mediterranean cuisine.
Altea Dorada development is situated outside the old town of Altea and only 25 minutes drive from the night life of Benidorm, the famous water park of Aqualandia and the Terra Mitica theme park with rides from around the world.
You are advised to hire a car for greater mobility as there are so many attractive places and beaches that you would want to visit. The best beaches in the area are - Benidorm (Levante and Poniente), Altea (Playa de la Roda), Calpe (Playa de la Fossa) and the beautiful shingle beach of Albir (Playa del Cap Blanch).
