Our recently built and fully furnished duplex apartment is 25km, just 30-minute drive, south of Alicante airport. It is on a well-established, well-designed development not far from La Marina beach and is ideal for a family or group of friends. The property sleeps six and has a comfortably furnished lounge/dining room, a small but well equipped kitchen, one double and two twin bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate shower room, two large terraces and a small gravelled garden with car parking.

GREAT VIEWS, EASY LIFESTYLE Facing south on a gentle slope, the property has beautiful views over the landscaped swimming pools and across the sweeping valley to Guardamar. Within 500m there are several bars and shops including a supermarket. Indeed the whole area is well served by a wide variety of shops, banks, sports clubs, friendly bars and popular restaurants. Medical facilities also are close by.
The inviting waters of the Mediterranean along with lovely sandy beaches and the fascinating dunes of La Marina are just 4km away. The sea is clear and warm and perfect for many types of water sports. Temperatures in the high 20s and almost uninterrupted sunshine are the norm for the summer months. Even in the winter it is almost invariably much warmer than the UK.
EXPLORE A LITTLE If you become bored with taking the sun why not drive into the countryside or visit some of the many charming small villages in the area. Try their shops and bars – it’s a different world! The theme parks of Benidorm are only an hour to the north and Torrevieja 30-minutes to the south. For those interested in history, the ancient cities of Elche and Alicante are within easy reach. Both have more than three millennia of recorded history. Santa Barbara castle, which towers above the city of Alicante, was held by English forces (not British – it was just before the Act of Union with Scotland) for several years in the early 18th century. Perhaps you would like to find out why.
ACTIVITIES If you are a more energetic holidaymaker seeking a lively and active Spanish holiday experience there’s a sports centre within walking distance, or you could visit some of the many first class golf courses in the area from La Marquesa 10km away to La Manga an hour to the south. So the whole area provides the ingredients for the perfect break. The Costa Blanca is popular with Spanish and foreign visitors alike so whatever your taste, whatever your needs it’s all here.
Taxis from Alicante airport cost in the region of €35 – ask the cabbie first. We can provide directions for him in Spanish. There are many amenities within easy walking distance of our house, and there are bus services, but we do recommend hiring a car. This saves the cost of your taxis from and to the airport, which goes a long way towards your car hire. A car can be hired from €100 per week. We will provide directions in English from airport to house.

The Property comprises two floors with large roof terrace and main bedroom terrace. It is one of a block of four and occupies the sunny southeast corner.
Ground floor - Enter through the large covered porch into the fully furnished lounge and dining area. Furnishings include two sofas, dining table with six chairs, colour television and ceiling fans. The compact but well equipped kitchen also has its own door to the garden. Also on the ground floor is the blue bedroom with twin beds and a small shower room at the foot of the stairs.
First Floor – A flight of stairs takes us to the yellow bedroom with twin beds, the bathroom and the main bedroom with double bed. This room has direct access to a large sunny terrace.
Roof Terrace - A further flight of stairs takes us to the large sun terrace from where there are beautiful all round views towards Guardamar, the sea and the mountains. Please take care not to burn yourselves.
General - All bedrooms have a fitted wardrobe, mirror, bedside cabinets, lamps and ceiling fans. Should you have small children there is also a travel cot. The bathroom and shower room are both fully fitted, tiled and have mirrors and shaving points. For winter evenings there is an electric panel heater upstairs and a gas fire in the lounge. For your piece of mind a carbon monoxide detector is fitted and there is a smoke detector on the landing, so don’t burn the toast!
