Description: |
Our house is a four story house located on a residential street in the heart of the old part of town. It has a small side balcony and two roof-top terraces. From the roof you can see a small piece of ocean and sweeping views of the church and town and surrounding hills. It is a very short (5 minutes or less) walk to the shopping areas, the beach and several excellent flamenco bars and restaurants (some just a block away!). Staying here you will be literally around the corner from the archaeological museum that is housed in the caves at the foot of the castle.
The boardwalk along the beach closest to our house has been recently redone. It is a beautiful place to stroll and is home to some shops and several cafes. There are bars there where you can sit in chairs right on the sand and enjoy a drink or music while watching the moonlight on the water.
This house is a very authentic Spanish townhouse in the middle of Almuņecar. Everything you need is in short walking distance down beautiful original cobblestone streets. It is ideal for experiencing small town Spanish life while enjoying the beach.
There is a bar-B-Q on the roof terrace, a washer and dryer, and bed linens, bath towels and a few beach towels are provided. There are three bedrooms that contain one double bed, three single beds, and a sofabed (sleeps two people) in the living room.
There are no hidden fees! All utilities and before-and-after cleaning services are included in the weekly prices listed below.
(I have changed my policy and will now give discounts to stays of 3 weeks or longer. The amount of discount will depend on the length of the stay.)

Our key holder is English and can offer you a grocery welcome pack, extra beds, daily cleaning and laundry service and other amenities for a small fee. The lower terrace has a built in charcoal grill and patio furniture. We do not have any electronics except for a good stereo/cd player in the living room. There is no tv or phone or computer hook-ups (although a wonderful english speaking internet cafe nearby). The street is not accessable by car, so the house may be inappropriate for anyone who has trouble walking up or down hill. You may park a car in the adjoining street (just one house up from us) however, there is no guarantee of a space. |
