The new development of Golf Gardens is situated in the popular Miraflores / Riviera del Sol area on the Costa del Sol, the sunshine coast with over 320 days of sun per year, and is surrounded by the Miraflores golf course. Located less than 30 minutes from Malaga airport, this very large 4 bedroom apartment with terraces front and roof offers panoramic views across the golf course to the sea and mountains, and is extremely well equipped to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable.
The south facing penthouse is on the top floor and overlooks the swimming pool and landscaped tropical gardens. This is a luxurious and spacious apartment that sleeps 8 and is furnished to very high standard with marble floors throughout. The apartment consists of a large lounge with separate dining area, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, separate guest toilet, and a fully fitted kitchen. Automatic hot and cold air conditioning is installed, and the apartment is fully alarmed. The complex has secure underground double parking with lifts servicing each floor of the apartment block.
The lounge opens to front terrace and has a separate dining area with seating for 8. The front terrace enjoys the sun nearly all day. Relax in the sun loungers and enjoy the views across the golf course to the sea. The roof terrace receives the sun all day, and has spectacular views of the coast, as well as overlooking several holes of the Miraflores golf course.
The spacious kitchen features granite work surfaces and includes a large fridge/freezer, built in oven, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There is a separate breakfast area with table and chairs.with views overlooking the complex gardens and swimming pool.
The master bedroom has its own terrace and features a king size double bed, separate dressing room, large en-suite bathroom containing whirlpool bath, separate walk-in shower, twin washbasins, toilet and bidet. There are two further bedrooms each containing 2 king size beds, large built–in wardrobes and drawer units. One has access to the front terrace and they share a fully fitted second bathroom with bath, shower, twin washbasins, toilet and bidet.
Within a short walking distance of the apartment is a commercial centre containing bars, restaurants, supermarket, hardware store, hairdresser, newsagent and cash point machine. Further shops, bank, restaurants, lively bars and the beach can be found at the bottom of the Avenida del Golf (approximately 10 minute walk downhill). The Miraflores Golf clubhouse is located at the rear of the apartment and is open for lunches and dinners, with entertainment usually being held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Entertainment also takes place several times a week at the Club Miraflores, which is open for both lunches and dinners. Calahonda is only a few minutes drive and contains banks, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and nightlife to suit all ages.
Golf Gardens is surrounded by the Miraflores golf course, a testing 18 hole course designed by Folco Nardi. The driving range and golf academy are within easy walking distance. The Costa del Sol is the golfing Mecca of Europe with nearly 60 courses, including Valderrama, host to the 1997 Ryder Cup, Torrequebrada which has hosted many world class tournaments including the Spanish Open, and Alhaurin El Grande with its two 18-hole courses designed by Seve Ballesteros.
Although a car is not essential, one is recommended in order to fully explore and appreciate the area. A 10-15 minute drive takes you to the thriving towns of Marbella with its woderful old town, and Puerto Banus where you can visit the designer shops, sample the nightlife or just sit and admire the fabulous boats in the marina. The white pueblo of Mijas is only 20 minutes away, Gibraltar, with it’s duty free shopping is just over one hour’s drive, and historical cities of Ronda, Seville and Granada are also popular day trips.
Close by is the picturesque port of Puerto Cabopino with its beautiful Marina, wide sandy beach, beach sports, sea fishing, and excellent restaurants and bars, where freshly caught seafood is the speciality.
Families with children are well catered for on the Costa del Sol. Besides the sandy beaches, Fuengirola (10 mins drive) is home to an Aqua park and an excellent Zoo. The Tivoli World Centre in Benalmadena is an ideal day out - with funfair rides for children of all ages, regular childrens musical entertainment, restaurants and bars, or you can take the spectacular cable car ride to the top of the mountain. The new Selwo animal, marine, and adventure parks are located in Estepona and Benalmadena, and there is dolphin watching and sea fishing off the coast
In winter, skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which are just over two hour’s drive away, whilst water sports and sailing activities can be found in many locations along the coast.
For the bargain hunters, excellent shopping centres can be found at La Canada near Marbella and the recently opened Parque Miramar in Fuengirola. Local markets are held in Fuengirola on Tuesdays (fair ground) and Sundays (port), Benalmadena on Fridays, and Puerto Banus (Bull Ring) on Saturdays. Additional markets also take place in Marbella and Estepona
