Description: |
The apartment is in the small urbanisation of Rio Mar and is suitable for couples and families with young children. The apartment has a kitchen, with fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and board, toaster, microwave,kettle, a small oven,and gas and electric hobs. The living room seats 5 with a seperate dining table, and for entertainment there is a tv, dvd, cd player, radio, along with books and games. The bedroom has two single beds, with fitted wardrobes, and there is a balcony overlooking the swimming pool with a patio set for (al fresco) dining. The swimming pool has an adult pool and a paddling pool for children, and is in a lawned area, a minutes walk from the apartment. The local beach is a 500 yard (metres), 10 minute walk away. and the apartment is ideally placed for visits to the Mar Menor, Alicante, Murcia. and Cartenaga, all of which are within an hours drive. Torrevieja is 9 miles,(13 kilometers) away with Its waterpark, bars restaurants, nightclubs etc. Local activities include swimming, horseriding, cycling, watersports(in the summer), fishing, tennis, boat trips, from torrevieja and cartenaga,and golf on the many nearby surrounding courses. Many local markets are held in the surrounding towns and operate on a daily basis. where you can buy fresh local fruit, vegitables, meats, cheeses, also clothing, footwear, leathergoods, curtain material, bedding etc. There are many local restaurants to choose from in pilar de la horradada(10 minute drive), and mil palmeres(15 minute walk),which serve a variety of food from around the world, including spanish, english, chinese, german, italian,indian, and mexican. In pilar de la horradada is a cinema which shows english films and in torrevieja you can go ten pin bowling. A local representitive is on hand to meet you with the keys and to offer any help or advice to make your stay more enjoyable. The nearest airport is murcia which is a 15 minute journey by car, alicante airport is a 45 minute journey by car
