Set in over one acre of lemon and orange groves, with a stunning mature Mediterranean garden, the Finca offers its visitors the traditional Spanish home with all the added benefits of modern amenities such as air-conditioning, heating, satellite television and, of course, a superb private swimming pool. Approached from a small road Finca La Zurita is some 5 kilometres from the bustling village of Alhaurin el Grande and 4 kilometres from the traditional Spanish Town of Cartama. Although close to all local amenities the Finca benefits from its location in the heart of the Alhaurin countryside. It maintains a feeling of total privacy and peace once inside the enclosed cypress hedged garden. The south facing gardens are breathtaking and contain olive trees, lemon and orange groves. The garden enjoys sunshine all day, but a covered terrace and courtyard provide welcome shade when needed. Around the 5m by 10m swimming pool there is ample paved areas with garden furniture and sun beds. During cooler months the pool can be heated for an additional 100 euros per week. The central courtyard leads to a large roof terrace from which you can enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif and watch the sun sink below the mountains. The accomodation consists of:- The fully fitted kitchen contains electric oven, separate hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster, kettle etc. Adjacent to the kitchen is a covered breakfast area. A separate dining area seats six people at a traditional Spanish pine dining suite. The dining room also contains an additional sitting area and has a large wood burning stove. The lounge area of the Finca is traditionally Spanish with its vaulted and beamed ceilings and wrought iron work. Heated and air-conditioned, the lounge contains ample seating for six, satellite TV, a large open fire place and large patio doors leading into the garden area. A large range of paper back books are available for guests. The master bedroom suite, which is heated and air-conditioned, contains a double bedroom, dressing room area and en-suite shower room. The dressing room contains a large wardrobe and dressing table facilities. The bedroom window provides superb views across the mountain to greet you each morning.To complete the master suite there is a large en-suite shower room with walk in shower, toilet and hand basin. This has electric heating and hot water is provided by an immersion heater. The twin bedroom is also heated and air-conditioned and has ample wardrobe space. This bedroom can accommodate an additional "Z" bed if required.This is situated adjacent to the twin bedroom and contains a full size bath with shower, twin basins, toilet and bidet.
