The apartment is located in a very smart and secure small block just a stone’s throw from the beach.. The spacious and comfortable accommodation consists of two bedrooms (1 double/1 twin) with ample fitted wardrobes, drawers, and bedside cabinets. Tastefully furnished lounge with dining area and leather suite, sideboard, English TV, dining table and chairs. Separate well equipped fitted kitchen with granite worktops, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Washing machine on separate utility terrace. Roomy bathroom with bath, toilet, bidet, basin and separate shower. The good sized balcony (fitted with sliding glazed windows) enables you to enjoy the views all year round, and is equipped with table and chairs and can be accessed directly from the lounge and both bedrooms.
The apartment is located in a quiet area of the town, and a short level walk brings you to a huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as supermarkets, internet facilities and all other amenities. Just a few minutes stroll and you will find yourself in the heart of the town and the famous ‘Balcon de Europe’. Family beach play areas are nearby and boules courts within five minutes’ walk.
Nerja is described by Which? Holiday magazine as the best coastal holiday destination in Spain. The town has retained it’s traditional Andalucian character of narrow, winding streets and white-washed houses. Sheltered by the surrounding Sierra Almijara mountains, Nerja is said to enjoy the best all-year round weather in Europe.
Activities nearby include walking, water-skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, paragliding, cycling, riding, tennis and go-karting. The Baviera Golf Club is 15kms away at Velez Anoreta Golf Club, whilst the Rincon de la Victoria Course is 30 kms. The famous prehistoric Caves in Nerja are just a short car journey away and should not be missed. There is a local market held nearby each week.
Andalucia is steeped in Spanish culture and history and Nerja is the perfect base from which to visit the Alhambra Palace at Granada, as well as Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Gibraltar and Tarifa with its world class windsurfing and hydrofoil trip to Morocco. Nerja abounds with year round interests and activities. You can even ski in the Sierra Nevada from December to April.
