Description: |
Senorio de Roda is a new development of 16th century style town houses located within the estate of the Marques of Urbinia del la Quinta, a noble family serving the Spanish monarchy for more than 400 years. The development is situated in a truly Spanish village. The new Roda golf course has just opened this year and is open to the public.
My town house is spacious which comprises of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen ( including mircowave, fridge freezer, oven and hob, toaster washing machine, iron ), dining living area with full size double sofa bed. The house also has a patio, solarium and communial swimming pool.
Situated 5 minutes from Los Alcazeres town, which has a beautiful beach and excellent facilities including bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
Senorio De Roda is also situated near the Mar Menor. An inland sea which boasts warm and shallow waters, ideal for families with young children.
There are several things to do close to the house.There Is a n 18 hole golf course opposite the complex and several golf courses close by, water sports , fishing, on the Mar Menor and several beaches withtin reasonable distance. Ferry boat to La Manga, slide parks and new theme park near by.
The historical cities of both Murcia and Cartagena are a twenty minute drive away also with lots of shops bars and restaurants. Cartagena also has recently discovered Roman ruins.
The house is only a 10 minute drive fom Murcia airport and a 50 minute drive from Alicante airport.
There are several airlines which serve these airports. Including, Monarch Jet2, , Ryan Air, and several others. Alicante however does have several more choices than Murcia with regards to airlines.
The house provides the use of mountain bikes for the fit and healthy. However local car hire is reasonably priced and also available at he airport
( book over the internet, drive Spain.com, Carjet.com ).
Ellen and Dave manage and maintain our property in Spain. They will meet you on arrival either at the airport or at the house and show you how to operate all the appliances.
