Description: |
Our Penthouse is a newly built top floor apartment in excellent condition. It has one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room attached. There is a huge terrace for those who like enjoying time outside in the sun, which can be accessed from both the bedroom and living room.
The Kitchen
Equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, iron and ironing board etc. The kitchen table seats 4 persons.
The Living Room
Has a sofa,sofa bed, coffee table, bureau, and satellite TV and 2 portable floor fans for use in either the bedroom or living room.
The Bedroom
Double bed, bedside tables, and wardrobe and another portable fan. We also can make available a cot in the bedroom, making it suitable for a baby or toddler. High chair can also be hired at a very minimal cost.
The Bathroom
Bath with shower, bidet, bathroom cupboard and toilet. Towels are provided. Please supply your own Beach towels. Hairdryer. Shaver point.
The Terrace
If you like being in the sun the large terrace is placed with nothing between you and the sky. It has a outdoor table with parasol, four chairs ready for you to relax and enjoy the sun. We also provide beach chairs and parasol.
Our Apartment is accessible for wheel chair users, with a ramp leading to the elevator.

Torrevieja centre is only 15 minutes walk from our penthouse apartment. The local buses go regularly to Torrevieja Centre and nearby places.
Every Friday Torrevieja boasts one of the largest street markets in Spain.
Originally a fishing town, Torrevieja has preserved its unique Spanish character and charm. The European unions blue flag donating excellent beaches flies over Torreviejas beautiful scenery. Torrevieja has two natural salt lakes. These surround the area creating a wonderful micro - climate producing superb all year round weather. There is an aqua park and the area contains the following; Golfing paradise, watersports, sailing, horse-riding, go-karts, ten pin bowling, night market, small fair and crazy golf.
There are many spectacular local fiestas.
DIVING
Just off the coast of Torrevieja on the southern Costa Blanca there is a variety of wreck and reef diving in a region already popular with Spanish divers.
Most of the scuba diving is situated in La Manga and Cabo de Palos close to the marine reserve Islas Hormigas. Here there are minimum temperatures of 13ºC in winter and over 29ºC in the summer with an average visibility of 15 to 25 meters. The underwater scenery is spectacular with dive sites for both advanced divers and for beginners.
Starting at the very tip of Cabo de Palos youll find the rocky bays of Cala Fria and Cala Muerta. Here are some interesting sites for the beginner and also for the experienced diver who wants to do some relaxed diving during his holidays.
There are many sights to visit, including the island of Tabarca (frequented by scuba divers) which is accessible by ferry from Santa Pola and Torrevieja in summer.

GOLF
If you are interested in Golf then the VillaMartin, Campomar, Las Ramblas. La Finca and La Marquesa is a close drive from the apartment.
LA FINCA
Located about 15 kilometers inland of the town of Torrevieja and 4 kilometers from the small town of Algorfa. This is a bit of a challenging 18 hole course. Set in a fantastic setting, if you have the time to look up from your ball you can take in the full impact of the surrounding mountains in all their glory. The course itself is a championship course built and designed by Jose Gancedo in 2002, its hilly in places and has a rolling landscape, the wind can effect your game as it blows hard where the course is raised.
Par 72, 6032 meters from the yellow and 5411 from the red tee.

QUESADA
Known better as La Marquesa you will find this interesting course set in a valley 18 holes regarded as a White Card, flat with very wide fairways without that many obstacles. A few canals do cross the course that is there to take the water from the surrounding hills but there is enough space to aim for to avoid them. The course was designed by Justo Quesada in the late 80s, and was opened in 1989.
Par 72, 5990 meters from the yellow and 5094 from the red tee.
Green fee is 55 Euros as of 2005. Its is possible to buy a membership for a short or longer period on this course.

VILLAMARTIN
The oldest and probably the most famous course in the area. It’s a very interesting course but not that difficult, the rolling landscape means a round can offer you many variations ton your game to enjoy. Opened as far back as 1972 by Paul Pulman?

LAS RAMBLAS
Go in land from the beach of Campoamor and you will not only find this fine course but next to it you have the fablus campoamor course, 2 for the price of one. Las Ramblas is regarded as probably the most difficult in the area. Narrow with many trees, some say too many add to that the traps that have been designed to be difficult and you have the makings of a hard day out on the course. The advise from those who have gone before is bring a lot of extra balls you will need them. The rolling landscape makes for easy and enjoyable walking, most though take a buggy as they spend so much time looking for their balls. Opened in 1991 by Jose Gancedo the same as La Finca

CAMPOAMOR
Campoamor has a lot to offer on and off the course. The fantastic new clubhouse stands like a monument on top of the hill at the centre of the complex. This area has been built with the needs of the golfer in mined from start to finish. From the club house you should take time out to take in the view, 100 meters above sea level you are able to see Santa Pola from the north to La Manga in the south and the mediterranion sea in the middle. The wide fairways and large greens of this course makes it very popular and isn’t regarded as that hard to play, but can hold a few surprises. If you have a handicap of 10 or 28 you will still have a good day out. The area is developing all the time with a new 18 hole course being built and many new apartments in the complex going up all the time, if you are golf mad you don’t have to leave the resort. Designed by Carmelo Garcia and opened in 1989
Par 72, 6056 meters from the yellow and 5094 from the red tee. Green fee is 40 Euros for women and 43 Euros for men. It is possible to buy membership that covers a period of one month to one year, and gives the possibility to play up to 3 times per week.

SWAN PARK
Located just outside Torrevieja off the N332. You will see a great place for the small children and a relaxing environment for parents, where there are interesting things to do in the water and things to see. Once at Swan Park you are in walking distance of the new shopping centre, and all the shops and restaurants that have opened up around it. There is even a casino and a bowling ally. Keep the sea to the back of you and walk over the N332 and you will see it to your right.
CALOSSA
If you love the outdoor life, a day out walking up the Callosa Mountains is a must. It is not a hard walk, but it becomes narrow and steep near the top, but as long as you take your time then its safe enough. With many picnic areas on the way which have small tables and chairs where you can take in the world below at you leisure. Located in the village of Callosa you only need to park up and look for one of the many footpaths that lead to the mountains.
LES FONTS DE L’ALGAR
This is a fantastic beauty spot where a natural waterfall drops into a large pool where the visitors can have a fantastic swim, thought to have healing powers it can get busy but once again, it is really worth a visit. Head towards the village of Callosa den Sarria and you will pick up the signs.
The palm forest in Elche is the largest in Europe. There are many beaches, vineyards and the Salinas de La Mata salt lake, natural park and nature reserve.
General
The Ozone 5 entertainment centre is complete with Casino, Ten Pin Bowling and more Restaurants. There is also a huge multi - level shopping centre and a Go Cart Centre. Benidorm is only about an hours drive.
Water Sports - Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Jet Skiing, Shelling, sailing, surfing, scuba-diving, windsurfing, water-skiing, snorkeling, fishing are all available at the port in Torrevieja. There you will find the yacht club "Real Club N൴ico de Torrevieja" and the modern marina "Marina Internacional de Torrevieja" (with over 800 moorings) which offer two diving centres, sailing school, two charter companies and a full range of water sports. "Club Nico Cabo Roig" has a yacht club and a light sailboat and windsurfing school, "Club N൴ico Dehesa de Campoamor" is indicated for motorised craft or low-draught sailboats. There are several fully equipped gyms, also football, darts, aerobics, squash, dancing, cycling, ten-pin bowling Medicinal Baths/Hydrotherapy, Hiking, Biking, Golf, Tennis, Fitness Center, Gym, Miniature Golf, Amusement Parks, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, all available in and close by Torrevieja Centre.
Horse Riding - available at the El Refugio Horse Riding Centre situated at La Mata Salt Lakes to the north of Torrevieja.

Bookings
The easiest way to book your holiday in our Penthouse Apartment in Spain is to email Maureen via the link on this ad and let her know when you are interested in staying. Dont hesitate to ask her about anything you would like to know, and we wil do our best to help. Maureen will then get back to you, so make sure your contact details are updated and provided in the email.
Tariff
We have divided the tariff into three seasons:
All prices are for the whole apartment no matter how many people are staying, though it is meant for two people ( plus or minus a small child) SPECIAL RATES FOR LONG TERM BOOKINGS.
Low Season is November, December, January, February. £150 (€221) per week. Extra nights £25 (€37) per night. Christmas or New Year £45 (€67)per night
Mid season: October, March, April, May £180 (€268)per week. Extra nights £30 (€45) per night. Easter £45 (€67)per night
High Season June, July, August, September £215 (€320)per week. Extra nights £35 (€51) per night.
Deposit
A £50 (€74) deposit (which will be deducted from the rent) is required to secure the booking with the balance payable two weeks before departure. If the booking is cancelled less then two weeks before departure, then we will keep the deposit. On receipt of the balance we will send keys to the apartment. For security reasons we charge £30 key money, which will be reimbursed on safe return of the keys.
