Description: |
This single storey casita has a cosy rustic feel with bags of charm & character.
A sweeping gravel driveway leads round to the front of the casita where the swimming pool and covered terrace are the main focal points.
La Casita has an open plan living area with high beamed ceiling, terracotta floor tiles, comfy chairs by a large fireplace and open plan " L " shaped fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Wooden shutters to all windows will keep the cottage cool during the day. A small hall leads to the master double bedroom with two shuttered windows which flood the room with natural light. One window looks out to a lush green hillside of Cherimoya and Avocado trees and the other overlooks the swimming pool. A twin bedroom also shares the pool view.
A covered terrace provides welcome shade in the heat of the day and is the perfect setting for long leisurely " al fresco " lunches or evening sundowners. The cool blue swimming pool is surrounded by a terracotta terrace and shingle covered garden. Fenced on all sides to provide privacy for guests the casita is approx 85m from the owners main house. An orchard and long driveway separates the two properties, far enough away not to disturb but close enough to be on hand for assistance or local advice.
La Casita is set in the heart of the sub tropical fruit growing area of the Costa Tropical yet the beaches and amenities of the Costa Tropical are only a short drive away. Unspoilt by mass tourism the Costa Tropical offers some of the best beach side restaurants, some are quite basic with simple fare, but the food especially the locally caught fish is delicious.
This is a good base from which to explore the Andalucian coast and countryside.
