Within this small development there are two swimming pools, including a large infinity pool with showers and toilets and a good sized pool a few strides away.
In La Mairena there is the famous Hofsass Tennis Club with bar and restaurant facilities, The trendy Kudu Bar serves food and drinks and now open is the Messina Restaurant, all within walking distance.
There are various water sports along the coast and many chiringuitos (small Spanish Bars) along the beach serving Tapas and delicious Fish recipes. Within a two hour drive there are lots of opportunities to visit the famous white villages of Andalucia and towns such as Ronda, Granada, Cordoba. the Sierra Nevada is popular for Skiing. This area is perfect for Walking, cycling, bird watching, quad biking and photography. Locally the beautiful harbour at Cabopino is alive with bars and restaurants, but further on you will find Puerto Banus with it´s famous Marina and nightlife.
One and a half hours drive south along the coast takes you to Gibraltar and then on to Tarifa, which has a popular beach for Kite Surfing or a stroll round the historic town. Then for the more adventurous, take the ferry across to Morocco.
Within a 5 minute drive Golfers can take advantage of Santa Maria Golf Course and over 20 other courses within a 10 - 20 minute drive.
