Description: |
This ideally located property in the town centre is a short 4 minutes stroll to the beach, and well connected by local public transport. It is also fully aclimatized.
Getting There and About: The appartment is located in La Nogalera Complex, only metres away from Torremolinos underground train station and bus stops connecting all the coast. There are frequent trains to Malaga’s international airport “Picaso” (10 minutes journey), Malaga centre (23 minutes journey) and Fuenjirola, as well as bus/coach services to many destinations including Malaga city, Marbella and Gibraltar.
The Appartment: The apartment has been tastefully re-decorated in cream and blue tones. It has a distinctive Spanish/Andalusian flavour. It is located in the 9th floor with astonishing views of Malaga bay, the beach and Torremolinos centre. The Italian designed kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, ceramic cooker, washing machine, dish-washer, microwave, and fumes extractor. There is a large sleeping area which can be converted into two separated double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has two single beds whilst the other owe has a double high risen bed, with there office space and a large wardrobe underneath. In addition, the sofa bed in the seating room converts into a double bed. All mattress are orthopaedic.
The Complex: La Nogalera complex was designed by A. Lamela, a top international architect, who also designed Real Madrids Bernabeu Stadium and the new Barajas airport (Madrid). Sited on top of a rocky formation, La Nogalera overlooks the town and coast. In spite of its central location, La Nogalera has large communal spaces, including: elegant spacious marble halls, 4 large swimming pools (including childrens pools), a mini-golf/recreation area (under refurbishment) and nicely kept gardens on a first floor which are accessible to residents only. The complex blocks and recreational areas are connected by bridges. The ground floor level is a commercial area with selective boutiques, hair & beauty saloons, cafeterias, pubs, restaurants and some of Torremolinos most popular clubs. The complex benefits from 24 hours security guards and its location in La Nogalera Square, Torremolinos main square. It is only 50 m. away from St. Miguel Square (the main commercial street in Torremolinos) and a short 4 minutes stroll to the beach, which can either be accessed by lift or through the public stairs. Both La Nogalera and San Miguel as well as the narrow streets surrounding the complex are pedestrian areas.

The apartment is wheelchair accessible and served by 3 lifts. It is suitable for couples and families. All linen and bath towels are provided. The living room has separate sitting and dining areas. TV, video player and Sky TV. The terrace is fully furnished. All the apartment is fully aclimatized. For people who do not feel comfortable using air conditioning systems, we have also provided are radiators and large fans as an alternative. Please note that the safe is temprorarily unavailable (one of our guests left it locked and we are in the process of retrieving the combination used in order to open it). However, while the problem is resolved, please be reasured that, providing that you lock the door behind you when you leave, the apartment is extremely safe and all contains are cover by the insurance. The apartment is located in the 10th floor and fitted with bars preventing access from other apartments. It is also fitted with a high security "acorazada" door and the easiest way in without a key would be to knock the wall, which, given that the construction is very solid and that there is 24 hours securiy and other neighbours living in the corridor, is highly unlikely. Polite request: we would like to ask our guests not to alter the tecnitians settings in the TV and digital receptor, as this may make it harder for other users to acces all the TV channels available -we strive to keep the rental costs as low as possible and, within this limited budget, it is not possible to call out a tecnitian in order to reset the channels every time the apartment has been let. |

Special notes Price includes fresh linning and cleaning charges between occupancies. The minimum rental period is a week, normally from Saturday hours to the following Saturday, but alternative arrangements will also be considered -additional fees may apply when bookings fall outside this period. Keys and leisure cards are available for collection from 14.00 hours on the date of arrival and must be returned 12.00 noon on the departure day. Please notice that a 50 Euro charge per week applies per occupant in excess of 4 occupants. |
