Description: |
Finca Al Mansour is set in four thousand square meters of land upon which are planted olive, almond, avocado, plum, grapefruit, kiwi, peach, nispero, orange, and lemon trees and many more.
The house is fully furnished and has all the ingredients for you to enjoy probably the most relaxing holiday you have ever experienced.
Finca Al Mansour is ideal for families, golfers, or for three couples to share. The finca can accommodate eight people, and has plenty of room for each person to have their own space. (additional fold up bed is available on request)
DESCRIPTION OF THE FINCA AND ITS CONTENTS:-
The house has an Arabic/Moorish design and comprises of:
Farmhouse style fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, country style double gas oven, microwave, and toaster, Ironing board and Iron, and Kettle. Fully equipped with all utensils.
Living room with fireplace, television, comfortable sofa and chairs, panoramic views of the countryside, large dining table with eight chairs.
There are three bathrooms in total, the mater ensuite is with with luxury fittings and hydro spa corner bath, double washbasins and cupboard space for bathroom accessories.
The bathroom on the ground floor also has a bath and W.C, and washbasin. Then we have a bathroom with shower which is adjoined to the bbq house area also with top quality fittings.
Four bedrooms
1) On the second floor, master suite with 2.00x2.00 meter latex bed, walk-in wardrobe. Bedside tables with lamps. This room boasts panoramic views of the pine forest that is a protected area known as the sierra de las nieves. This room also overlooks the garden,pond and the swimming pool too.
2) 2nd Bedroom is the smallest double bedroom, also on the second floor and has fitted wardrobes with draws, this room also has countryside views.
3) 3rd Bedroom is a large double and has a 1.50 meter bed fitted wardrobes with draws, and bedside tables with lamps.
4) 4th large Bedroom has twin beds fitted wardrobes with draws, and bedside tables with lamps.
Should you require an extra fold-up bed we can provide it.
Bed Linen and Duvets Provided, plus towels for Bathing. Please bring your own towels for beach use.
The pool is 11 meters long, free form and designed with kids in mind. Walk-in and a large surface area of shallow water. Cleaned weekly (in bathing season) complete with sun beds etc..and out door shower.
We have a large private African BBQ House which is where we have enjoyed many memorable BBQs. This area is where many people spend most of their time in ‘the bar’ complete with additional drinks chest refrigerator so you have plenty of room to store all your cool drinks. We supply the logs for the bbq to enable you to enjoy outdoor summer living! We have plenty of tables outside for eating on the covered terrace.
Parking for three cars under the car port is available, however, there is further off road parking within the grounds.

All in all, its the ideal place to spend your holidays in comfortable surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, but near enough to have access to it when you wish.

Finca Al Mansour in Monda, is set amongst the most dramatic and stunning scenery of Andalucia in the foothills of ‘La Sierra de las Nieves’, its municipal area forming part of the natural park, and retains the hallmark of its Arabic past in the shape of its steep, narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses standing in the shadow of the castle, built on the ruins of the former Arabic fortress, now a Hotel with Restaurant. Monda Castle is an ideal setting for the cultural events held there, including opera, or flamenco evenings including dinner. It’s also an ideal venue for pre dinner drinks which enables you and your family to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Also worth a mention is the Marbella Gun and Country Club, that is two minutes outside the village and apart from the obvious, clay pigeon shooting, crossbow, and air pistol target shooting, there are quad bikes and horse riding too. The streets between the old white houses are narrow, and the facades of the houses are typically overloaded with flowerpots full of blooming geraniums hanging from the walls or the small balconies.
Monda is a lively and traditional Spanish Pueblo, still filled with enchantment and life as it was years ago. It is not a rarity to see farmers passing through the village with their donkeys on their way to cultivate their olive and orange groves.
Monda has a smattering of typical Spanish bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, village shops, fish mongers, top quality butchers, and many other small businesses. Basically everything you may need if you don’t fancy popping down to Marbella or to Coin which is the next town only 10 minutes drive away. Coin it’s self has all the amenities one requires, including a commercial centre with multi cinema that also show films in original version at certain times of the day.
Monda is an ideal place to explore the surrounding white villages and to taste the traditional andalucian cuisine.
The house is only two minutes drive from the main road to Marbella and you can access the airport in Malaga in 35 minutes, Ronda which is a very nice day trip of one hour and thirty minutes, home to the oldest bull ring in Spain and many other tourist attractions. Granada and Seville each being roughly a couple of hours away making them ideal day trips.
The most accessible golf clubs are just twenty minutes drive away in Alhaurin el Grande and Alhaurin de la Torre where you have two fabulous 18 hole courses with superb lunch time menus at reasonable prices. Also you can drive down to Marbella to access the numerous other courses on the coast.
The views from the finca are breathtaking over the countryside and surrounding area. All in all, it’s the ideal place to enjoy a break, in natural surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, but near enough to have access to it when you wish.
The finca is located on a hillside that is accessed by a cemented track that runs up the mountain side , so it is very private and not overlooked. (please note if you have never been to Spain and driven off road before in your own country, this is an off road cement track and has around 400 meters of up hill driving)

Special notes Prices are per week commencing on Saturdays(flexible please ask) at 16.00 and Departing on Saturdays 11.00 We require a refundable security deposit of 200 Euros on each reservation which will be refunded 48hrs after departure, subject to reductions for breakages or damage. If you cancel your holiday this amount is not refundable. 6 weeks prior to your holiday the total amount of the rental fee has to be paid, preferably by bank transfer. A receipt will be issued and sent by either post or e-mail. Should you have to cancel your holiday 6 weeks or less after this payment has been made you will unfortunately loose the whole rental amount. (Unless we get a last minute booking to fill the vacancy) |
