Description: |
A SUPERB SPANISH STYLE FAMILY VILLA THAT WILL SLEEP 8/9 PEOPLE.
The villa is very spacious and has a very large lounge/diner leading onto a new open kitchen. It has two double bedrooms downstairs, both with built in wardrobes, and a large bathroom.There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. All rooms have heating and air conditioning.
Upstairs there is also a very large double bedroom with air con and built in wardrobes, and a spacious bathroom. This bedroom can sleep three if required as it has a separate sitting area.
The villa has recently been renovated to a high standard.
OUTSIDE.
Downstairs we have a large veranda patio area which is covered, and has bougainvillea and jasmine fragrancing the tranquil atmosphere. We also have a B.B.Q area. There is a large private garden area with mature trees and shrubs for shade.
Upstairs we have a very large balcony area of 50m2, which is superb for eating out or sunbathing as it has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and sea.
The villa has secure off road parking for 2/3 cars.
The private pool is available from June-Oct.
AREA.
The villa is set in a quiet residential sought after area of Peniscola,
just three minutes drive from the blue flag, safe beaches.The nearest restaurant is a five minute walk away.
Just a minutes walk from the villa we have the stunning Sierra de Irta,
National Park area with its wild flowers and wildlife. There are many walks for the young and old, just a stride away. There is also a Championship golf course only 15 minutes drive away.

WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA.
The idyllic sandy beaches of Peniscola are only 3 mns away by car or a local bus can take you as it stops 100m away from the villa. Here you can find everything to suit all ages , from building the biggest sand castle to jet skiing, the beaches of Peniscola have a wide range of water sports to offer.
If its the quieter life you want the secluded coves of El Pebrets will suit as these never get busy, even in the height of summer.
Very close by is the stunning medieval castle, with its narrow streets and tapas bars and shops.Next to the castle is the promenade of Peniscola which is 3km long.This place bustles in the summer and is home to many famous street performers and artists.
Local fiestas are held at the beginning of SEPTEMBER, and these are a must see for any one who loves Spain.The theme is about the Moors and Christians which sees a mock battle parade marched to the music of the hollywood film EL CID, WHICH WAS FILMED AT THE CASTLE OF PENISCOLA IN 1963. But the real history dates back well over a thousand fascinating years.It is a celebration which brings ,FIREWORKS ,MUSIC, FOOD ,WINE and how could we forget the bulls running in the castle,(but dont worry no bulls get hurt).The merriment goes on for about 10 days.
The Centro Commercial shopping center is only 5 minutes away and has many branded shops and restaurants as well as a multiplex cinema and a superb bowling alley.
The Sierra De Irta National Park is very close by for walks, horse riding and mountain biking, paintballing. This is a stunning attribute to the area.
The championship golf course designed by Bernard Langher is only 15 minutes drive away and another course home to Sergio Garcia is in Castellon, only 30 minutes away. These are stunning courses and are a must for any golfer.
The Ebro Delta is only is a must and is only 20 minutes drive away.The Delta is world famous for birdwatching ,walking ,fishing cycling and a host of other water sports. It is also famed for its restaurants and is a favourite of chef Rick Stein.
At the back of Azahar lay the mountains of the Meastrazgo Region.These mountains lush green and beautifull all the year round.They are full of historic towns like Morella, which is perched 2000m up and was a strong hold of the famous Knights Templar. This is one of many towns. There are also many lakes with picnic areas for you to enjoy.
PORTAVENTURA theme park by Universal Studios is only 50 minutes drive away or you can catch the train, as it stops outside the theme park.This is a must for all families. It also has a superb water park as well.
The famous cities of BARCELONA and VALENCIA are only a short train ride away.The nearest station to catch a train is only 3km from the Villa.
