Description: |
This flat has been charmingly restored as closely as possible to how it would have been 120 years ago (but including all modern conveniences!). The original layout; floor tiling, windows, doors and wrought iron balcony railings have all been retained. It is situated on the second floor of a building in a pedestrian street in the heart of the old port area of Barcelona, and the balcony offers a view of both the street and the main market square.
The flat is just six minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, and four minutes walk from the beach. The waterfront, pier and yachting port are at one minutes walk. The whole area is full of excellent seafood restaurants, ranging from some of the most exclusive in Barcelona to tiny bars that offer the best fried fish in town for very little money.
The flat itself is small (35 square meters) but has two bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed which can be converted into twins and the other with one single bed, with a pull out below. The living room has a fully equipped kitchen area and access to the balcony, which runs the length of the flat. There is one small bathroom with a SMALL shower.

Barceloneta is in the city centre, but still like a little village in its own right, with plenty of charachter, and old tradidtions. Only a foot step away from the beach on one side, the Old Port on the other and walking along the port you arrive to the old town only 5 minute walk. Probably the best location of Barcelona. |

If notification of cancellation is received within 48 hours after the reservation has been confirmed by Akaza, the full pre-payment will be returned to the client. If the apartment is, for any reason, not in rental conditional at the time of arrival, in situation of damage, such as leaks or any other conditions making the apartment un-liveable, Akaza has the right to cancel a booking for this specific apartment and reserves the right to transfer clients to an equivalent accommodation at its discretion. If an alternative apartment is not available Akaza will then return the pre-payment. Akaza will do its best to assist the client to find a suitable solution of alternative accommodation, but will by no means be held responsible to do so.
