Hey Jeremy and Nick!! We wanted to thank you for being so great. In many ways we were in trouble, lost in Spain, until you guys came along. The price was right and the week spent was just what we needed. Even the pets were amazing hosts, I had to talk Angie out of permanently borrowing one the day we left. By the way, your Paella was the best we ever had. Later on in our trip we bought some in Soller and it didnt compare. As far as hosts went on our 3 month European trek, none were better than you. Valencia airport is 25 minute drive from the apartment. Most budget airlines fly direct to Valencia airport and car hire is available at the airport. Alicante airport is the next closest main airport.
IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After Ryanair anouncing that they are to close their base at Valencia airport I can now confirm that this is NOT the case Ryanair will resume all their usual flights to Valencia along with some new routes to Valencia on the 29th March 2009. There are also many other airlines flying to Valencia from all over the world (check out our villa website for the full list http://villavalencia.synthasite.com/), but I thought I should confirm that Ryanair WILL be flying to Valencia airport from all the orginal european airports as before with some new routes.

THE VILLA
This is a 2 story private villa with 2 completely separate living apartments. The holiday rental is south facing with sunshine all day long.
The owners live in the apartment above with separate outdoor area (north Facing) to the front of the villa and are available for assistance if required. The owners may occasionally use the pool but they will not intrude on your stay in any way.
The Villa has spectacular views of mountains and the countryside. Keep an eye on the sky and you will most likely catch sight of eagles flying overhead or even some vultures circling. There are 2 sunbathing terraces by the pool (wet areas), A second terrace with table and chairs for food and drinks with BBQ (dry area) and a large terrace in the shade outside the apartment with dining table and loungers.
This is a self catering apartment, however, if youre staying for 1 week or more, on first arrival at the apartment you will find a free welcome pack containing a meal for everyone plus all the essentials like milk, tea and coffee, so after your journey you can relax straight away.
We run the house as ecologically as possible.
You will have satelite TV plus a DVD player. Lots of DVDs are available on request.
The villa also has a gym which you will have free access to when not in use. This includes a multigym, stepper machine and free weights.
Our nearest village, Macastre, is 5 minutes away. It is a real Spanish village with real Spanish people who are very laid back and friendly people. Even if you dont speak a word of Spanish you will always get by in cafés, bars and shops. The locals are always helpful.
Spain is a big country and it is always advised to hire a car on arrival at the airport. Pre-booked, hire cars can be found quite cheaply and picked up right outside Valencia airport.
Valencia is just as beautiful in the Autum and Winter as it is in Spring and Summer so take advantage of this and the out of season bargain rates at our villa. You will still get as big a welcome what ever time of year it is. During the winter months the surrounding area of the villa is perfect for Painting, Walking, Nature, Bird Watching and Cycling Holidays or just relaxing taking in the winter sun. If you like Historic Holidays again there is plenty to see in the surrounding area and in the city of Valencia. Nightlife in the City and the villages is great all year round and with Valencias micro climate (warm sunny weather 310 days of the year on average more than the rest of spain due to a ring of mountains keeping bad weather out and the good in) the beaches can be enjoyed any time of the year.
THINGS TO DO - PLACES TO GO

Macastre Paintball Extreme........ A brand new paintballing complex consisting of 3 adventure areas... This is a great time out for all the family set in the mountains only 5 minutes from the villa.
Fallas .....1st to 19th March
The Fires, A famous annual event in Valencia when huge hand sculptured statues, some as tall as 5 stories, are erected all over Valencian town and city streets. On the 19th of March, all the statues are set on fire.
At 2pm every day during this period, very loud fireworks are set off in parliament square in the centre of Valencia City. Well worth a visit and every night a spectacular firework display can be seen in the city.
Formula 1 European Grand Prix .....22nd to 24th August
A big event new to Valencia and very popular so book early for this period.
La Tomatina ......Last Wednesday of August
The famous tomato throwing festival when people from all over the world as far as Australia come to Bunol to take part in a frenzy of tonnes of tomatoes being thrown at each other in the street. An unusual experience to join in or to watch from a safe clean distance. The population grows from a usual 10,000 people to over 30,000 people on this day so book early for this one.
Moto GP Motor cycle racing .....24th to 26th October
Its motor cycle mania in Cheste, Valencia. 20 minutes from the villa to Cheste race track. A must for all motor cycle enthusiasts. Best Idea is to drive into Bunol train station (10 minutes away) then get a short train trip from Bunol Station to Cheste Circuit Station which is right near the race track. Driving can be a nightmare in this area at this time.
Fiestas (street parties)
Throughout June, July and August there are many fiestas in surrounding towns and villages offering live music, food and drink. Always friendly and inviting family events. The Spanish people love their fiestas and its always a great time out for adults and children.
Oceanographic and Science Centre
Valencia has its new ultra modern oceanographic centre. The biggest sea life centre in Europe, dolphin shows, Beluga whales and much more amazing sea life... a must for all the family. The Science museum is a great day out for all ages and also has an IMAX cinema.
Art galleries and museums
There are art galleries and museums in Valencia City of all types.
Opera House
The building is part of Valencias City of Arts and Sciences (la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències). The interior has four performance areas including a main, 1,700-seat, space that can act as symphony orchestra concert hall, ballet and theatre stage as well as opera venue.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
In house meals;
Evening meals can be provided by us on request if you feel like staying in and relaxing. Just let us know the day or morning before.
A three course Mediterranean, BBQ or traditional English meal can be served for a charge of €15 euros (£10) per head. A menu will be available in the apartment.
Satellite navigation;
We can provide in car satellite navigation. This will contain direct routes to all the best locations in the area and directions back to the villa so no time wasted getting lost.
A deposit of €50 euros is required (fully refundable on return) plus a daily charge of €5 euros.
A Few Guest Comments
We stayed at Nick and Jeremys for one week in June. We had a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is super - scenery is beautiful - everything you need for a relaxing holiday - outdoor dining area under shade - outdoor dining area in the sun - poolside is ideal. Local town/shopping is great. Very easy train ride into Valencia.
We hope to visit again!

I would like to thank you for such a great holiday. The apartment is nice clean and modern with everything I needed and the views are amazing. Swimming in the beautiful pool looking at the moutains is something I miss now Im back home. The location is great and such an easy trip into the city of Valencia. You made me very welcome and again thank you I miss being there already.

Cleaning is done before arrival and weekly any further cleaning during your stay will be an extra charge.
