Description: |
La Casita Mandarina, a newly built tastefully furnished property with its high vaulted ceiling lies in the heart of the Coin countryside in the Rio Grande valley. Here the pace of life is slower and perfect for a relaxing break, soaking up the sun and enjoying the local scenery Whether you are looking for a few days, weeks or a longer break come and stay and see it for yourselves. Perhaps you are looking for a property to purchase in this part of Spain. This is a ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area with its numerous whitewashed villages or travel down towards the coastal regions which are very easily accessible. You can have the best of both worlds.
A car is advisable for staying at this property. We are 6 km into the countryside, along predominately good roads, so this is perhaps not the best location for those who prefer the faster pace of life. A retreat for lovers of walking, birdwatching, painting, golfing and horse riding, of which we have a highly recommended Equestrian centre adjacent to our property. Or simply for people who just want to recharge those batteries. Relax by the pool, have a dip and then maybe have a drive up into Coin village to sample the cuisine at one of the many eating establishments available. If that sounds too strenuous, then why not cook up a barbecue by the pool and simply watch the sun going down.

Notes

Guests have the use of the 8m x 4m pool with its secluded shaded patio area. This pool is shared with the owners but we will never use it at the same time as yourselves. There are sun-loungers, barbecue, outside shower and table and chairs. We also have a 100 square metre 1st floor solarium for uninterrupted sun bathing so please just ask if you want to make use of it.
Guests have their own private terrace area with table, chairs and parasol.
You also have the sole use of a inside and outside kitchen. Both have granite worktops and are well equipped. Freezer space can be readily available if required as can laundry facilities.
Starter food packs will be supplied upon your arrival. These contain basic requirements and we do not charge for these. If you would like anything special please let us know in advance.
Horse riding for long or short breaks can be arranged through ourselves.
Depending on the time of year there will be various fruit to pick for you to savour. These include oranges, pomegranites, figs, plums, nisperos and grapes. We also have fresh free range eggs for your breakfasts so all you have to do is ask if you would like to try some.
The casita, due to the attention of its construction will always be a few degrees cooler in summer. A portable air con unit and heater are supplied, depending on the time of year.
Any advise and information on local shops, restaurants, weekly markets, places of interest etc etc can be readily available for you.
For ease we will always meet people on their first visit at a designated location to guide you in. There is nothing worse than getting lost after spending hours travelling.
We, the owners will do all we possibly can to make ones stay an enjoyable experience. With over 20 years of being in the Hospitality business in the UK we know what works.

Special notes
Prices are per week. For extra nights, please calculate these at one sixth of the weekly charge.
On booking a non refundable of 25% is required, with the balance on arrival in Cash - Euros.
There are no hidden extras. We do not make a charge for gas or electric. Neither do we hold a deposit for breakages but leave it to the guests discretion to replace where necessary.
We ask guests at the end of their stay to please leave the accommodation as they found it at the begining of their holiday. |
