With the dramatic mountains of Les Gavarres as your backdrop there are ample opportunities for exploring the surrounding countryside by way of the excellent network of clearly marked walking and biking trails, or perhaps enjoy a leisurely drive along the quiet rural back road which meanders through the forests to La Bisbal, centre of the areas ceramics industry. A variety of watersports can be enjoyed from the beach of Sant Antoni or try the scenic coastal walk that winds its way over the rocks, through the pine trees and across tiny sandy coves to Platja dAro.
