Description: |
This much sought-after villa is situated in a quiet residential street within La Marina Urbanisation. It is a south facing the villa; therefore the sun is with you from sunrise to sunset. La Marina is situated 25 minutes south of Alicante airport and 45 minutes North of Murcia airport on the N332 coastal road. The seaside resorts of Guadmar and Torrevieja are just 10 and 20 minutes away.10 minutes North of La Marina is Santa Pola with its fortified castle and fishing port here you can catch a ferry to the island if TABARCA where crystal clear waters temped snorkelers & divers alike. Within a 60 minute drive North of La Marina there is Benidorm where you can spend the day at Terra Mitica Theme Park. This is close to Mundomar & Aqualandia. The kids may like a swim with the dolphins well recommended. If you like a slow walk around gardens the Elche is just the place with its britanic gardens & palm forest. Guardamar has a little train that takes you on a guided visit This is in English the tour takes about 2 hours well worth the money.
The villa is close to local shops, bars and restaurants only a five minute walk away. A five minute drive takes you to 14kms of golden sand and blue waters, life guards in summer months only. In high season there is a bus service from the urbanisation to the beach. We would recommend that you hire a car as there are so many places to visit. The villa has a large roof terrace 21’x14’6’’ with views over to Gaurdmar and surrounding country side. There is a covered veranda for eating alfresco this comes complete with table and chairs,barbque and lights for those long hot summer evenings with paddle fans for a nice cool breeze. The pool is 9m x 5m set in its own gated area 40’3’’ X 37’ with steps on both sides at the deep and steps to enter at the shallow end. There is an outside shower to use before entering the pool, shade is provided by the pagoda. Sun beds are by the pool for those wishing to go home with a tan or for those just wishing to lay back and read a book.
The villa has 3 bedrooms all with air conditioning. The Main bedroom has a king-size bed, built-in double wardrobe, 2 bedside tables with lights, it also has an en suit with shower sink, toilet and bidet, hairdryer and large mirror and cupboard space. The Second Bedroom has 2 single beds 1 bed side table with lamp and a double built-in wardrobe. The Third Bedroom has full size single bunk beds and a single bed, 1bedside table with lamp and a double built in wardrobe. The Family Bathroom comes with a full size bath, toilet, sink and bidet also a shower over the bath with shower curtain. The Kitchen 13’8’’X8’3’’ is fully equipped with everything you will ever need to prepare and cook a meal. Plastic plates, bowls and beakers for the pool area. A fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, hob grill and oven. A microwave, iron and ironing board. There is plenty of cupboard space. The back door is in the kitchen which leads you to a staircase that takes you up to the roof terrace. The Lounge has an extra double sofa bed which will sleep two making total sleeping for 9 people. The TV has 23 sky channels including ITV & BBC it also has 10-15 radio channels. There is also a dinning table that will seat 9. The villa is fitted with an audible smoke/carbon monoxide detector.The villa is fully alarmed this comes with a SOS button. In the event of an emergency you can speak to someone in English. IE (ambulance, fire or police.)
BUS SERVICE.There is a local bus service just 50 meters from the villa which will take you to further shops, bars and resturants.From these shops you can catch the Vega Bus to the beach where you can enjoy a three course lunch with wine for only 9 Euros well recommended.(The best beach restaurant is a small walk along the beach to El Pinet in the direction of Alicante.) Buses run approximately every thirty minutes. Timetables should be checked on arrival. If you have no car the small bus will take you to a supermarket called Supa Vaule opposite the supermarket you will see the tourist information board, timetables and other information on places to visit can be found here, they do speak English.
GOLF INFORMATION; There are many golf courses set within 60 minutes of la marina. The nearest being Quesada Golf Club, with its par 72 18 holes you can enjoy 2 putting & 1 chipping green, a 20 lane driving range, 2 practice bunkers. Club hire is available and of course the 19th hole. The championship course of La Manga is the about a 90 minute drive south of La Marina, a handicap certificate with be needed for this course. Other courses within a 60 minute drive south include: El Plantio; La Finca; La Marquesa; Villa Martin; Campoamor; Las Rambles. Please contact us for any further information. There are local shops within a five minute walk of the villa.These consist of the following; A large supermarket, a choice of two Chinese Resturants both have take away service. An Irish Pub serving traditional food,a Pizza resturant, German and Italian Resturants, a Steak House,Fish and Chips eatin or take away, newsagents,optitions,bank,Icecream Parlour. A Thomas Green & Cornish Pride shop, plus several other shops bars and resturants. Five minutes from these shops you will find our twice weely market Thursdays and Sundays from about 8am - 2pm. Many stalls selling cheap leather bags belts etc; But remember you need to have fun and haggle the price down.There are fruit and vegetable stalls, shoe stalls, coffee bars and even hot chickens can be bought for Sunday lunch highly recomended. Plus lots of other stalls selling a wide range of goods.

Special notes To reserve the villa for rental, the client should contact the owners either be telephone or by email where an initial £100 per week non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance of the rent is due 6 weeks prior to departure. If booking is made within 6 weeks of rental period the full payment is required. A security deposit of £150 is required with the balance to cover any possible breakages, following a satisfactory inspection and returned keys the security deposit will be refunded in full. If costs for repairs or breakages exceeds the security deposit of £150 this will be invoiced separately. A final clean is included in the rental price, but if additional cleaning is required due to the property being left in an unacceptable condition, additional charges will be deducted from the security deposit. Terms and conditions apply. Villa is available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 12noon on day of departure. Unless otherwise agreed. Please note beach towels are not provided. |
