The nearby town Torrevieja offers all typical tourist activities you could whish for. Fantastic beaches are just 5 minutes away and if you want to capture the real Spain just visit Orihuela only 15 minutes driving through the orange and citrus groves. Murcia and Cartagena with their historic sites will complete your dream picture and for sure you do not want to miss out on a visit to Alicante which is during daytime a trendy shopping town, where the area around the marina turns into a fantastic leisure and nightlife area once the sun sets.
