Description: |
• Situated conveniently near the town centre, but far enough away not to notice the hustle and bustle. This spacious 3 bed roomed ground floor duplex apartment has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in luxurious surroundings. It will sleep 8 adults comfortably and is very conveniently situated 5 minutes walk from the beach front and also a few minutes walk, in the opposite direction, to the old town and the blue- domed church of La Virgen de la Consuelo. Pictures go in this space next. LOUNGES • The spacious lounge has a pair of comfortable sofas, Television and a DVD player. Full-width glazed double doors lead from this air-conditioned living room onto a covered terrace with sea views and mountain views. • The terrace has a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the wonderful views and sunsets. The second lounge is downstairs and has a double sofa bed . It also has a coffee table and music system. Off this room is another little room which houses an ironing board and iron and can also house a trundle bed. BEDROOMS • Main bedroom is a double; it has a luxurious super king-size bed. This bedroom has an en suite bathroom. • The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside lockers. • The third bedroom is a single bedroom. KITCHEN The kitchen is a galley kitchen fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, electric kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. This is separated from the Dining area by a worktop so the cook is never left out.
Dining Room The dining room has a large table and chairs to seat 10 people. It also has a 3 speed ceiling fan above the table and a sound system on one of the sideboards. The spectacular views from the full width floor to ceiling glass wall is of the harbour and the nearby Sierra Bernia mountains. LOCATION The cosmopolitan village of Altea is one of the most charming and fascinating on the Costa Blanca. Along the esplanade interesting boutiques and shops jostle with restaurants and bars. In the old quarter, only a few minutes walk from this apartment, narrow lanes of whitewashed houses and gourmet restaurants wind up the hill to a cobbled square with bustling pavement cafes overlooked by the distinctive blue ceramic domes of the church. In summer the old town is totally pedestrianised and the streets around the church are taken up with arts and crafts stalls where local artists exhibit their work. For the culture vultures, this area is steeped in history and there are many ancient monuments and places of historical interest to visit For those who like walking there are many trails and paths through the mountain areas for you to enjoy. You will find leaflets and information about all of these places and more at the tourist information office on the seafront. This area has a special micro-climate making it is an ideal place to visit and enjoy at any time of year. Within 10 minutes walk down from the old town to Altea’s beach area, there is the usual cluster of restaurants, hotels and bars ranged along a pleasant palm-lined esplanade, and good water sports facilities.
ACTIVITIES As well as the crystal clear sea and blue flag beaches with all the usual water sports, the area has plenty of activities within easy reach to fill a family holiday full of fun and excitement. * Terra Mitica - a magnificent new theme park where ancient civilizations come to life. * Terra Natura - a theme park introducing the nature of different continents. * Aqualandia - a water park with rides and fun for everyone. * Mundomar - a marine park with dolphins. * Fonts de Algar - a natural spring where you can bath in rock pools and climb up waterfalls. All the above attractions and Benidorm are only 15 minutes away. Valencia is only 1 hour drive away and is a city steeped in culture. *Football – Valencia is only 1hr drive away and hosts many international football matches. *Golf – There are an abundance of golf courses in this area. Many of these are championship courses designed by the greats: Seve Ballesteros, Jack Nicklaus, and Jose Maria Olazabal to name but a few. Most of these clubs boast an abundance of driving ranges and games and transport can be arranged through our local caretaker.
