The complex is secured by 24 hour manned security within a gated development with underground parking. There is elevator access from the garage. The 18 championship course, par 3 9 hole course with extensive practice facilities makes this an ideal apartment for golfers from beginners to experienced players. The golf course even recently featured on Real Estate TV (SKY channel 273 & 274) on "A round with Pace" with Pace from the famous comedy duo Hale and Pace. The Costa del Sol/Malaga region Marbella has a unique climate, with weather during the winter months reaching a pleasant 20 degrees or more, perfect for all the sightseeing available in the area or a game of Golf or Tennis. Marbella / Los Flamingos Golf Resort area Los Flamingos 5 star golf complex and resort Having driven around much of the Marbella and Costa Del Sol areas, I have found The Los Flamingos area to be one of the most attractive and pleasant not to mention exceptionally well located developments on the coast. Golfers enjoy superb views of the Mediterranean, Africa and Gibraltar while experiencing all the unique demands the challenging golf course has to offer. The course is landscaped around a lake and bird sanctuary with a variety of fruit trees, cypresses and pines. Other facilities include an extensive practice area, putting greens and a short 9 hole course. The spectacular Ritz-Carlton 5-star hotel “Villa Padierna” offers two restaurants, a Golf academy, a golf shop with everything youd ever need and the cosy “La Cantina” bar makes a great venue to relax after a few holes. The hotel also has a spa with indoor pool, sauna and eight therapeutic baths. You will also find many other internationally renowned courses within 30 minutes drive including La Quinta, Las Brisas, Marbella, Los Naranjos, Atalaya, Los Arqueros, La Duquesa, Guadalmina, El Paraiso, Aloha. Beach The local sandy beach is 5 minutes drive away and provides water sports, bars and cafes. A short 10 minute drive up the main road leads to Laguna Beach - an unspoilt beach and shopping area frequented by celebrities and local beautiful people. A great place to unwind and relax. Marbella holds a special charm for the visitor contrasting the sea, the mountains, and the famous 0ld Town with the Orange Square. Frequented by film stars, wealthy arabs and football stars Marbella is famous for its high class shopping where all the top world class designer labels can be found. Puerto Banus Los Flamingos is a quick 10 minute drive from the world famous Puerto Banús Marina where Europes rich, famous and beautiful come to hang out. The restaurants here present the finest food available with prices being surprisingly affordable - picassos pizza reataurant is a great example. Puerto Banus is a great place to stroll, relax, people watch, shop and dine not to mention a few drinks along the way. Sean Connery, Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffiths have houses here so dont be surprised if you bump into them! Look for famous European footballers around the marina area. Ronda Ronda is nestled amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains. The oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 45 minutes. One of Andalucia’s most beautiful towns, Ronda is steeped in history. It is famous throughout Spain for the plunging river gorge that divides the medieval from the 18th century parts of the town - dont forget your camera! Known as El Tajo (The Cliff), the gorge is spanned by a stone bridge, which once housed a prison. Try standing on the bridge and stare down at the waters of the River Guadalevin. Ronda is also famous for its bullring, which is the oldest and arguably most historic in Spain - the arena itself is also the country’s largest. The bullring is open to visitors when the fights are not on. Ronda is a great place to visit if you want to experience traditional charm in a tourist friendly breathtaking location. Shopping & Cash machines For food and drink there is a very well stocked Mercadona supermarket on your right just as you enter the Los Flamingos development. They even stock Kingsmill bread, Heinz baked beans and everything else youd ever need including fresh seafood, wine from only 1 euro per bottle up to top quality french brands, pizza, quality cereals and much more. The cash machine is located outside the main entrance of the supermarket. Using your debit card to obtain Euros usually works out cheaper than using cash currency conversion services. If you fancy a large mall type environment there is the huge LA Canada shopping mall for everything youd expect at a large hyper mall including great value clothes, entertainment, restaurants, cheap electronics, and more. Major roads all the way with beautiful sea views on the left from Malaga or to the right if driving from Gibraltar - Flights start from just £35 return to Malaga airport from the UK (thats including all taxes and fees). I have found Easyjet, Thomsonfly.com, BMI Baby and Ryanair to offer the best prices. 3 hour flight time. - Local buses and taxis also available if not driving Guestbook "My trip out to Spain was fantastic. Deeps apartment was really good, the whole place was tranquil, views were awesome, good place to let your mind free of daily stress. The apartment it self is of a very high standard. I will definitely go back, but this time take my wife with me, so she can also experience the environment. The complex of "Los Flamingos" is truly brilliant and if you are a golfing person you just have to go. Lots to do and see.
