Description: |
Almeria is the warmest province in Andalucia with an average of 3100 hours of sun per year - this is the reason why the most powerful telescope in Europe is set up here (in Gergal) as well as the largest solar energy plant. There are also thermal springs in Alhama de Almeria and the Sierra de Alhamilla.
Inland Almeria a desert landscape which has been used for filming western movies as well as Lawrence of Arabia; Indiana Jones and the last Crusader. You can visit the Mini Hollywood which is close to Tabernas - the only real desert on the whole European continent and its scenery is startling and stimulating.
Almeria has vasts areas of natural beauty with virtually unspoilt beaches overlooked by stunning cliffs.
Cabo de Gata -Nijar natural park is the first land/maritime natural park in Andalucia.
Vera Playa is 10 minutes walk from Garrucha and 7 mins by car to Mojacar. There are bars,restaurants supermarket,hairdressers, shops and local bus service along the complex.
The duplex is very well located and you are never far from touring villages and for the sporty types there are water sports, golf and tennis available nearby.
The Aqua park is 5 mins away and the National Parks is not far by car either.
Garrucha is a traditional picturesque spanish fishing port with marinas, bars, restaurants,shops and clubs. It is renown for its seafood which is caught daily and served in the local restaurants. The maket is on Fridays of every week for you to pick up bargains.
Mojacar Playa is 7 mins drive away. There are restaurants,shops, bars and golf courses and water sports.
Mojacar village is on the picturesque hilltop and a must to visit and look at the breathtaking views down the valley below whilst listening to the music on festival days buying local crafts or eating out in open air.

The duplex was recently built in 2001 and the house is in excellent decor which consist of all mod cons. The complex has landscape gardens and three swimming pools one of which is a childrens paddling pool.There is also ample parking spaces right outside the duplex.
There are garden furnitures to relax in the sunny terrace in the front of the house.
Downstairs there is an air con lounge dinning area and kitchenette equipped with cooker, fridge freezer,microwave,washing machine,toaster, kettle,iron etc
There are two settes in the lounge, dinning table with chairs, side board and coffee table, colour TV, DVD & CD/Cassette/radio player and mobile heater.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with one double bed and two singles in the other. There is a wardrobe, bedside cabinet and ceiling fans in each room and a mobile heater.
The fully tiled bathroom has a shower screen bath,wash basin,toilet and bidet.
Bed linens are supplied. But please bring your own towels. A welcome pack can be arranged for your arrival to get you started on your holidays.
Airport Transfer can also be arranged. If you need any advice on transfers please ask.
BOOKING GUIDE
Please check availability with us first and we will hold available dates for a short time, email us where possible or give us a call. Please enquire even if my place is booked up as I might be able to find you a similar house in the came complex.
25% deposit secures your booking subject to availability. Full payment plus £100 refundable breakage deposit is required 8 weeks in advance before the start of your holidays. Keep your booking confirmation email or letter as this will verify your booking and allow the managing agent to let you into the property. Please supply names of the people who will be staying. Also please provide us with flight times and arrival airport. Nearest airport is Almeria 50 mins drive away. Next is Murcia 90 mins drive and then Alicante 2 hours drive.
Direct Cheap flights available from Easyjet, Ryan Air, FlyBMI and Tarleton travel.
Times of departure is by 12.00 noon and arrival after 4.00 pm in order to allow the cleaning to be done for the changeover. Outside of these times please arrange beforehand when booking.

Please check dates by phone if possible and full payment must be received as cleared funds at least 2 working days before date of arrival.
