The upmarket resort of Cala d’Or is situated on the south-east coast of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands. Originally a small fishing village, a resort has been purpose built for tourism around the original village. The coastline of Cala d’Or boasts beautiful stretches of golden sand, crystal clear waters and sand dunes backed by pine trees. Around town Cala d’Or has a beautiful marina where you will find excellent seafood restaurants, there is also a good selection of shops and bars, and even a couple of discos. However Cala d’Or is not too rowdy and does suit families.
