San Pedro de Alcantara is located in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from the upmarket resort of Marbella, a few minutes drive from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona. The town is popular with both holidaymakers and foreign residents, as it combines tourist facilities, great beaches and a wonderful old Spanish working town. San Pedro has a buzzy, Spanish atmosphere, with lots of bars and restaurants lining the narrow streets. The beach of San Pedro is a long, golden sandy stretch with a pleasant promenade attached.
