The historical city of Cordoba in Andalusia is one of the most interest cultural destinations in Spain. The city combines Roman, Jewish, Moorish and Christian cultures from its past, with its modern day love of flamenco and bullfighting. Cordoba boasts a wealth of monuments and fine architectural examples including the medieval Jewish quarter, the famous Mezquita and the Alcazar Fortress; plus the Roman Bridge, which crosses the city’s Guadalquivir River. Cordoba is located in the province of the same name, inland from Malaga, which is the nearest airport.
