The Costa de la Luz, coast of light, is a coastal area of outstanding beauty, located in Andalusia, which stretches from the bohemian town of Tarifa, through Cadiz and to Huelva. The area, although boasting some of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Spain, is still relatively unknown to many foreign tourists. It is however, a popular tourist destination for Spanish holidaymakers. The Costa de la Luz is located on the Atlantic coast and combines long stretches of golden sandy beaches, much of which are nature and biosphere reserves, stunning national parks and whitewashed villages dotted throughout the region.
