The little village of Gualchos is situated in the Andalusian province of Granada, in coastal region known as the Costa Tropical. The picturesque village is nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and Sierra Nevada mountain range, 1200 metres above sea level. Gualchos is definitely a rural retreat, for nature lovers and those looking for a relaxing getaway, yet not too far off the beaten track, that you can’t be sitting on a beach within 25 minutes. Gualchos offers basic amenities, with a couple of bar restaurants and mini market, but the atmosphere is friendly, and the scenery magnificent.
