Orgiva is situated in the fertile valley of the Guadalfeo River and is the largest town of the western Alpujarras. At 450m, Orgiva has a milder climate than many other places in the Alpujarras and is surrounded by olive, lemon and orange groves. It is located on the Costa Tropical, in the province of Granada and is an ideal rural escape destination, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and with a wealth of cultural attractions around town.
