The city of Malaga, located in the province of the same name, in Andalusia, dates right back to 800bc and has over the centuries been marked by the Greeks, Romans and Arab Maurer. In recent years Malaga has expanded rapidly and has become Andalusia’s second largest city with 600,000 inhabitants. Malaga is a place where you can enjoy beach, sea, sun and culture all rolled into one. The narrow side streets form a maze crammed with tapas bars and bodegas, and the city is home to two Moorish fortresses and a cathedral; it’s also the birthplace of Pablo Piccaso.
