ABOUT OLIVA AND LA SAFOR Oliva is the second largest town in "La Safor

" which is a captivating region with miles of fruit tree groves and over 300 days of sunshine a year

located on the mid-eastern seaboard of Spain

almost adjacent to the Balearic Islands on the cusp of the northern Costa Blanca and the southern part of the Costa del Azahar. It is famous for its many kilometres of golden

European Blue Flagged beaches and is one of the few remaining traditionally "Spanish" areas along the east coast. Gandia

is only 6km to the north of Oliva

both are easily reached from either Valencia or Alicante via the arterial A7 motorway. There is a coach and train station in Gandia

making a day trip to Valencia

easy and convenient

if you prefer not to drive. There are Ferries to the Balearic Islands from the nearby port of Denia

only a half hour drive away. It is a charming and vibrant town with hundreds of shops

bars and restaurants

a tree lined main Paseo which stretches the full width of the town

and the charming "Calle Mayor" street with its many shops. Gandia´s beach is immaculate

sandy and safe with a superb system of lifeguards and warning flags. It is also cleaned daily during the summer season and is accordingly absolutely spotless . Oliva and the nearby beaches are just as fine

with a more natural

less commercial feel about them. There are a whole array of fiestas

and cultural events that take place all year round nearby

or if preferred

the customary firework displays can be contemplated at night from the terrace... Both Valencia

and Alicante airports are approximately an hour away from Oliva

with Valencia slightly the nearer and they are served by most of the major and budget airlines from all Europe. All exterior doors and windows are high quality double glazed and each one has its own fly screen protection to keep out insects . Its own private

and extended driveway will

allow you to park conveniently right up close to the front door to the villa. We provide detailed directions to help you arrive at the villa

conveniently taking the AP7 (auto piste) with nearest exit nearby

and we leave a personally designed information sheet

for your use

regarding nearest facilities in the area. A free welcome pack is left for you which includes milk

wine and some essentials for your use on arrival.

Fantastic villa with all amenities. Very clean and great views. In a quiet residential area but close to the lovely little town of La Font and Oliva. Pool lovely and villa very well set out. All equipment was available and the bbq was excellent. All Europeans channels on tv. Had some great day trips to Gadalest, Calpe and Denia. Highly recommended and hosts were brilliant on arranging tongs and being there if required. But as everything was spot on we didn’t need to! Thanks Charles and Maria

Lovely house! Garden and terrace hold a nice view over the mountains (and sea). Lots of privacy, in backyard as well as in the front where the pool is located. Good accomodation, also wi-fi, airco, etc. all worked well! Would definitely recommend this, perfect for family with small children! Kr,

What a wonderful 2 weeks we had in this beautiful Villa. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful garden. We spent a lot of time at the Villa as we just needed to relax and chill as we are both self employed so work never seems to stop ! We spent most afternoons in the pool which was amazing and lounging on the sunbeds then dipping in the pool again when it got too hot. The weather was fantastic apart from a couple of amazing storm which we watched from the terrace. My favourite place was the swing chair on the terrace. I cannot fault this property in any way, with a husband who loves cooking we had everything we needed. When we had a small problem it took one quick phone call to Charles who helped us sort it straight away. Lovely markets locally and Guadalest is a must if you have never been. We will definitely be returning to this lovely location and villa. Thank you so much for letting us stay.
